Not going to lie. I fucking love it. About time people were made to put their hands in the air and vote. Good for Trump. (Yeah I said it) Take a stand on a major public policy issue, publicly. On the record. Lead and legislate.

When the Honorable Mr/Ms Such and so ... from the great state of ... where YOU live is asked to vote, what will they vote and does that represent you?

Some reports are saying Trump caved in and agreed to end the ban on pre-existing condition denials....just to get a "victory".

The Art of The Desperate Deal.

Here is the "area of agreement" upon which conservatives and liberals are equally deplorable and despicable: The idea that the word "compromise" equates to "treachery."

Do you think health insurance policies should be able to ban pre-existing conditions?

Is that an "acceptable" compromise, in your view? Hmmm?

From one perspective I applaud his stance, from another it confirms a fear I've had about him.

As a corporate CEO with controlling interest in the concern he listens to his advisors but in the end he makes the final decision. Yes, he like all corporate CEO's try to build a consensus, but in the end it is a dictatorship. (This is one of the attributes that was manifest in Ross Perot as well.) They are not well attuned to dealing with 'shared' power.

One of the things I don't understand is why he hasn't used his legitimate presidential powers to put pressure on congress. Such as rescinding the EO that managed to exempt congressional staffers from having to participate in "ShuckNJiveCare." My feeling is that when congress has to live with the bill they passed their defense of the enactment might not be so politically motivated. Trump is not a political animal in the conventional sense, so if he's going to piss congress off, piss them ALL off equally.

The first of many broken campaign promises. Manufacturing in the rust belt, wall (or really nice fence) to the south, modernized nuclear weapons program, and no new taxes!

Who got shucked and jived this time around?

Look in the mirror.

What a crock of crap. This years budget is Obama's, not Trumps.

That feeling when Republicans are confused why the incompetent liar with loyalty to no one but himself continues to prove himself to be an incompetent liar with loyalty to no one but himself but you can't even enjoy it because Rome is burning.

Nice try, but it's actually called breaking a promise he made to the American people who trusted him to protect them and their loved ones.

If you really want to pretend you don't like Trump, maybe 97% of your posts shouldn't be trying to score pedantic points on his behalf.

That was never raised as an impediment when he was campaigning.

Damn straight. He is going to do all these fabulous great things, one after another, and it is going to be tremendous. Wall paid for by Mexico. New health care for everybody that is going to be cheap and great. Jobs where foundries and mills used to fill the air with smoke. And carriers!

All of this while cutting taxes.

Not even campaign promises. This was all part of his detailed 100-day plan, released after the election and signed as a pledge to the American people. It's all in there. Repeal and replace Obamacare. Build a wall, Mexico pays. It's in plain English, black and white. No "but only if everything goes exactly my way" clauses.

Fox has a fun little tracker that shows what he's actually done each day, with little green highlight boxes for every promise kept (but you'll have to do a LOT of scrolling to find one).

He's got a lot left to do in just thirty-seven days :)

All that will happen, right now he's busy bombing the shit out of ISIS.

And he was going to do it all on day one. Yes, he said that over and over again. And his dupes drank the Kool-Aid over and over again. And for Trump's part, it doesn't matter if the health bill gets passed or not--it doesn't deliver what Trump promised to deliver. Not even close.

"Trump obviously lied to everyone."

"Yeah, why did Hillary let that happen?"

You couldn't make this shit up, people!

The restraint of blind allegiance and the perils of pledging an oath of liege homage to the Celebrity President.

A Great Wall will be built, and Mexico will pay for it.
-Asks congress to appropriate $25 [Dr Evil] Billion [/Dr Evil] of taxpayer dollars to pay for a silly fence

He will divest from his businesses.
- changed his mind

Would defeat ISIS in 30 days
- not even a plan presented

Would take no holidays or play golf
- spent 5 of last 7 weekends on the fairway, costing taxpayers about 11 [Dr Evil] Million [/Dr Evil] dollars

Said nobody in his campaign had any communications, or met with the Russians.
- nyet, nyet Soviet. Seven of his people now admit to it, after getting caught in their lies

Speaking of Russia, remember Trump stating, when resurrecting Keystone, that "American steel must be used, or we're not building one".
-the exception to this is Evraz Steel, a subsidiary or Russia's Evraz PLC, who is supplying pipe for Keystone

And that ObamaCare replacement that was going to cover more folks, for less $$...

Alternative facts, Bowling Green massacre, and tweets about SNL...

When you hold the fella you buy your Bud Light from to a higher standard than you do your elected President, your case of blind allegiance is pretty severe. Sad. So sad.

If you're still riding the Trump train at this point, I suspect the man would have to personally visit your home, grab your wife by the pussy and take a steaming shit on your rebel flag to alienate you. And even then you'd probably tell your fellow right-wing whackadoodle pals, "That's cool. It's okay. Cause Hillary lost, man!"

Silly fucks. :)

Can we all stop and take a moment to mourn the real victims here?

Doesn't anyone ever think of Republicans in congress and the senate?

They never wanted to govern. They just wanted to obstruct. They didn't sign up for this! Hillary was supposed to win, and give them four to eight years of pointedly directed rage and blame. They were told she would win! Now they actually have to do stuff and that Trump guy keeps yelling at them.

Won't someone think of the Republicans?

With seven years to come up with a plan, it seems odd that the Repbulicans can't even agree amongst themselves.

I kind of like the idea of here is the plan. Take it or leave it. We are not going to take years to nuance it. Just vote and face the people back home. I am not saying I like the plan. I am just tired of the politicians kicking the can down the road.

Edited for spelling
