tRump removes Fig Leaf from Republican racism

(barely, if not hardly at all) Public Plausible Deniability of
Republican racism is hanging in shreds.

Who is wearing blindfolds ?

Well, there's your answer as to who's wearing blindfolds!

I noticed you didn't cite any republican racism, just like all the other leftist who make the erroneous claim.

Imagine that!!

The modern Democratic Party believes that George Washington & our nation's Founding Fathers were racists. Today's liberals think that the U.S. Constitution is racist! The looney-left believes that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is a hero for disrespecting our U.S. flag!

Last week in liberal San Francisco, more than 100-people walked through the halls of Washington High School to view a mural titled: "The Life of George Washington" that school board recently voted to cover up (because they say Washington was a racist!) The school board admits that it may cost as much as $600,000 to paint over the mural, including legal costs.

Some students had complained that they found the mural offensive - and so, in June the school board voted unanimously to have it painted over. “This mural is not appropriate,” announced Francee Covington, an African American woman, one of the few people of color examining the mural during Thursday's walk-through.

Not all black viewers share her concern. “There’s a lot in life that I’ve been offended by, but I don't want it taken down,” said Charles Jackson, an African-American originally from Detroit. “I wanted to come look at the mural because I think painting over it would be a big mistake.”

Look at their faces, there’s tremendous dignity and respect,” said Susan Stauter, former artistic director for the San Francisco Unified School District. “I am dumbfounded that a public school board would vote to destroy art.”

The mural was painted in 1936 by Victor Arnautoff, a devout leftist who at one point was investigated by the FBI for his ties to communism. His grandson says the artist included Native and African Americans to provoke a conversation about the real history of the United States. “He was naturally rocking the boat a little bit,” said Peter Arnautoff. “So he would be abhorred to hear the reaction that they’re getting today.”

Do YOU support painting over this above-mentioned mural of George Washington, YDB95? Do YOU think it's time to tear down the Washington Monument and change the portrait on the one-dollar bill? Are you a RACIST in the eyes of the modern progressive left?

What republican racism?

It is Democrats and Leftists who are consistently identifying people by the color of their skin; not Republicans. It is Democrat celebrities like Kathy Griffin, Snoop Dog, and Tom Arnold who espouse the beheading, shooting, and torture of the President and his family; 'cause "Trump stokes hatred". It is Democrats/Leftists (Antifa, etc.) who are promoting violence as a political solution.

What Republican racism?

I’d say the problem is American racism, although there are very fine people on both sides.

What American racism Phro???

Without specifically pointing to the racism the cries of such are totally empty.

You'd have to have been in a coma for years not to have noticed noticed the racism. Trump campaigned for the racist vote and has been quick to whip up hatred of Mexicans, Syrian refugees and asylum seekers from Central America. He also told the American people that all of the nations of Africa are "shit-hole countries".

I thought Beto O'Rourke hit it out of the ballpark when he said Trump was a white nationalist and that the racist things that Trump has done "cannot be open for debate."

"We’ve got to acknowledge the hatred, the open racism that we’re seeing," he said. "There’s an environment of it in the United States. We see it on Fox News, we see it on the internet, but we also see it from our commander-in-chief. He is encouraging this. He doesn’t just tolerate it, he encourages it, calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals, warning of an ‘invasion’ at our border, seeking to ban all people of one religion. Folks are responding to this. It doesn’t just offend us, it encourages the kind of violence we’re seeing, including in my home town of El Paso yesterday."

"Let's not mince words right now. This president is encouraging greater racism and not just the racist rhetoric but the violence that so often follows. This shooter in the manifesto cites, in part, for his inspiration, the shooter in Christchurch, New Zealand, who cites Donald Trump as his inspiration," he said. "This anti-immigrant rhetoric -- and, again, it is not just President Trump but he's certainly, as the person in the position of greatest public trust in power, most responsible for it. This is FOX News, this is what we're seeing on the Internet, this is the toleration of intolerance and racism in this country."

And the closest thing to racism is blatant lies (highlighted) and deception trying to portray Trump as responsible for an Australian bigot....because Beto can't actually point to any racism on Trumps part, so just make it up!!

Pathetic.

When influential celebrities like Kathy Griffin, Snoop Dog and Tom Arnold (and many others) call for the beheading, shooting and torture of the President and his family; who exactly is stoking the flames of violence and hatred? ANTIFA is attacking innocent children/adults in the street for wearing a MAGA hat. Are you supporting that?

Do you have any example of President Trump "encouraging racism/violence."?
You said the President is "encouraging greater racism and... violence" << where are getting that?

That's a very unimpressive, antiquated listing. Do you have any evidence of President Trump "encouraging racism and violence"? This reminds me of F.Lee Bailey's inquisition of Mark Fuhrman during the O.J. trail, "have you ever used the word "nigger"?

The "send 'em back" comment was truly unfortunate, but not indicative of a racist character or belief system.

On the other hand, I'll appreciate your estimation of the Leftists who promote the murder of the President and his family as a solution to his "racism".

Very few people raised in NYC are racists. They are just not that foolish.

Having racist employees doesn't make Trump racist.

Neither is shit talk or being an asshole just because the person they are shit talking or being an asshole to a person of color.

George Washington owned slaves. Exactly how is that "not racist"?

Well, there's your answer as to who's wearing blindfolds!

After the recent mass-shootings in Southaven, El Paso, Dayton and at the Gilroy Garlic festival Trump has been frantically attempting to delete his tweets where he refers to Latino immigrants and asylum seekers as “animals” and refers to immigration from South of the Border as “an invasion”. I guess he’s feeling the heat after the shooter in El Paso used similar language to discuss his hatred of immigrants and why he had to do something to stop “the Hispanic invasion”.

Not that deleting the tweets will do much good. His tweets have been preserved and recorded all over the Internet.

Also, there’s Trump’s hate-filled rallies where he attacks immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers from Latino countries.

For example, there was a rally just a few months ago in Florida, where Trump railed against immigrants, got them all worked up and then he asked his crowd for ideas to block migrants from crossing the border.

“HOW DO YOU STOP THESE PEOPLE?” he demanded.

“SHOOT THEM!” one man shouted.

The crowd laughed and Mr. Trump smiled.

Trump continues to play his cynical game of dodging responsibility, shifting blame and exploiting tragedy. In a press conference called to address the horrors of two mass shootings in the United States over the past weekend, the president said nothing about his pivotal role in stoking fear and racism among certain segments of the population, said nothing about the fact that five of the 10 deadliest shootings in American history have happened since 2016, the fact that he has become a figurehead in the dark underground of the global white nationalist movement.

Instead, Trump blamed the internet, blamed video games, blamed Congress and blamed “mental health issues”. By tying legislation for tougher gun laws to immigration reform, as he tweeted earlier, Trump also and by extension blamed immigrants, who themselves are the victims of the very racism that has been unleashed by this president.

With this ethical black hole of leadership and narcissistic exploitation of other people’s tragedy, Trump proves once again – as if we needed any more proof – that he is unfit for the office he occupies. But the tragedy is larger than his job. It’s also what he’s doing to our country.

Even some Republicans are getting sick of Trump’s blatant racism.

A Republican and state legislator from Nebraska, Congressman John McCollister tweeted Sunday night, "The Republican Party is enabling white supremacy in our country. As a lifelong Republican, it pains me to say this, but it's the truth."

This heartfelt tweet was written one day after a white supremacist killed at least 20 people in El Paso, Texas.
McCollister said that he didn't think all Republicans are racist or white supremacists, but "the Republican Party is COMPLICIT to obvious racist and immoral activity inside our party."
"We have a Republican president who continually stokes racist fears in his base. He calls certain countries 'shitholes,' tells women of color to "go back" to where they came from and lies more than he tells the truth," he added.

He finished the tweets asking his colleagues to no longer look the other way.
"When the history books are written, I refuse to be someone who said nothing. The time is now for us Republicans to be honest with what is happening inside our party. We are better than this and I implore my Republican colleagues to stand up and do the right thing."

Don't you think it is encouraging racism, when the president himself is so openly racist and his whole party turns a blind eye?

What racism???

Understanding that knowing a racist doesn't make one racist or that being a dick isn't the same as racism isn't turning a blind eye.

I noticed, he doesn't say how exactly.

Much like all the claims of white privilege and Trump being racist, there is a glaring lack of specifics surrounding the claims.

Calling shitholes shitholes isn't racist.

Calling anti-American pols out on their anti-American political views isn't racist.

If you don't want to be called a racist, don't act like one.

What racist acts, behavior or policy has Trump committed or supported?

Again...being an asshole isn't the same as being a racist, all racist might be assholes, but not all assholes are racist.

Neither is having x degrees of separation with a racist... hiring a dude who hired another dude, who hired another dude who hired what turned out to be a racist doesn't make Trump a racist.

Racism is a very specific kind of asshole and if you can't cite that kind of very specific behavior/rhetoric then the claim is false.....crying wolf, giving cover to actual racist who really are engaging in that very specific behavior.

I don't see even a hint of "racism" coming from President Trump. What I see are ambitious political figures using the charge of "racist" to get attention for themselves. What I see are influential celebrities like Kathy Griffin, Snoop Dog, and Tom Arnold (and many others), calling for the murder, shooting, and torture of the President and his family. It's like the "she made me do it" defense that some men use to justify murdering their wives.

"Openly racist" are people like Al Sharpton, David Duke, KKK stuff.

I see President Trump as a unifying figure for all Americans. Make America great. There is one HUMAN race. We are all a mixture. Using skin color to pit people against one another is political manipulation.

We are, broadly speaking, an incredibly stupid, foolish species. Do you really believe President Trump has an ingrained dislike for, or preconceived disposition toward, citizens with a different skin color than his own?

Being opposed to illegal immigration is not racism.

That's just STUPID, Allison! You're subscribing to the same old "everybody who didn't vote for Obama is a racist" bullsh*t!

YDB95 writes: "George Washington owned slaves. Exactly how is that "not racist"?"

I PREDICTED that you would join the political-progressives when they turned on George Washington, YDB95 - and now you've actually DONE IT!

RubenR writes: "Don't you think it is encouraging racism, when the president himself is so openly racist and his whole party turns a blind eye?"

TRANSLATION: If you didn't think that Barack Obama was a great president then that means you're a racist!

allison22 writes: "Also, there’s Trump’s hate-filled rallies where he attacks immigrants..."

Enforcing U.S. Immigration Law is NOT racist - and nor is demanding that others respect our nation's laws!

Stephen Coyle writes: "Even some Republicans are getting sick of Trump’s blatant racism."

ALL of the current Democratic Party presidential candidates raised their hands when the moderator asked them if the U.S. government should pay the health care bills of people here in this country illegally! Would it have been racist to have said NO?

RubenR writes: "If you don't want to be called a racist, don't act like one."

Remember when President Trump delivered the eulogy at the funeral of that former high-ranking officer in the Ku Kux Klan? - No, wait a sec... that wasn't President Trump... that was President Obama, back in 2010... at the funeral of former KKK 'Exalted Cyclops' Robert Byrd!

But remember when Trump delivered at eulogy at the funeral of that 100-year old segregationist U.S. Senator in South Carolina? - No, my mistake... that wasn't Trump... that was JOE BIDEN, back in 2003, speaking at the funeral of Strom Thurmond!

If Obama & Biden didn't want to be called "racists," Ruben, they shouldn't have acted like racists!
