New York Times reports: not much longer to wait...

Of course, charging an organization is not the same as indicting any person in it.

.
The Chauvin sentencing, the traitor in chief's criminal organization being charged, Ruddy Ghouliani being banned from practicing law in New York, the insurrectionists being prosecuted, etc, etc.

It's a bad day for Deplorables, but a great day for America.

Ain't it, though?

You are not, I hope, seriously comparing the NY DA's office with Beria.

James campaigned on a vow to prosecute the Trump organization before she ever saw one single shred of evidence of probable cause. She vowed to prosecute someone, not crime.

That's exactly what Beria did, and, like James, he was proud of it.

That's what DA candidates do when they campaign for election. Of course a candidate does not have access, yet, to the actual relevant evidence, you need to get behind the desk before you see all that. It is no different from a campaign promise to go after the Mob, or City Hall corruption.

Beria never campaigned for election.

What would be more interesting than anything else would be if they found ties to the Russian Mafiya.

They probably will find ties to Cosa Nostra. Trump is known to be mobbed-up even for a NYC real-estate developer.

Meh. Apparently if there are charges, they reportedly involve allegations of a company effort to avoid paying payroll taxes on compensation it provided to employees, including rent-free apartments, cars and other benefits. This kind of stuff is common, although rarely involve criminal charges. If anyone is hoping this is going touch President Trump, they’re probably going to be disappointed yet again.

"Show me the man, I'll find the crime." Beria prosecuted perople, not crime, just like James. She vowed to prosecute Trump, and set about poring over every inch of his organization to find the crime.

In a free society, prosecutors prosecute crime. In tyrannies, they prosecute people.

Trust us - he's that stupid.

Maybe your local DA ought to look into you, eh? Harvey Silverglate once wrote a book, "Three Felonies A Day" that posits that the average American unwittingly breaks federal law thrice daily. Maybe we should find yours and ruin your worthless life over them.

Calm down, Buddy. I'm sure your golden ticket to the next Mar-A-Lago social function where you can get in line to kiss Cheeto's ring is in the mail, just be patient like the rest of the cheerleaders. :D

Does anyone on this thread anticipate criminal charges against the former President? Yes or No. Here’s your chance to go on the record. 🤓

100% against the Trump Organization. He runs that, right?

And that should have been an option the voters could choose. Exactly that. And it was, and they did. Where's the problem? It's no different from the FBI targeting John Gotti or Al Capone.

I anticipated criminal charges, not knowing what particular charges to expect. He reeks corruption at every pore; all they had to do was look.

I’ll take this as a yes. You anticipate criminal charges to be filed against Trump as opposed to employees of the Trump organization. Thanks for going on the record. Look forward to seeing what, if anything, happens next week.
