On the UK Yahoo news stream, four-fifths of the stories are about Trump and all negative.

On the French Yahoo News - Trump appears once, on the 25th item. Most of the rest are about COVID or Brexit.

Does the UK have no news of its own?

That's one thing I like about this President-Elect, he's pretty low key and doesn't feel the need to be so grandiose and "extra".
