While its true that the majority of voters in most non-white majority areas are not Republicans, and that a majority of voters in these areas probably don't support him, but interestingly among Republican (and crossover) primary voters, Trump generally wins in non-white majority areas, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American, Asian American, and Native American population. I haven't researched him performance in majority black areas but since he's polled better among blacks than most Republicans I would imagine the pattern holds; again I'm not saying he has majority support in these areas overall).
Clearly, there is a small but real nucleus of support among diverse communities in America for Trump and his movement. This is the opposite of what the media and political commentariat on both left and right have predicted, but totally in line with my gut feeling all along. In fact, I'm actually surprised its not been even stronger. Its underperformed what I expected, but I was right there's a natural if small nucleus of support there and that he would probably do no worse than Romney or McLame in these communities, and would probably do slightly better.
