President Donald Trump is considering a major shake-up of his senior White House team, a senior administration official said Friday. Mr. Trump is unhappy with the infighting among his top advisers and is determined to see it end, the official said.

In recent days, he has talked to confidants about the performance of chief of staff Reince Priebus and has asked for the names of possible replacements. One candidate that people close to Mr. Trump have suggested is Gary Cohn, now the director of the National Economic Council and a former senior executive at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

Mr. Trump is “trying out different names with his friends,” one person close to the White House said.

Another top aide who could be removed or reassigned in a shake-up is Steve Bannon, chief strategist, who has been sparring with Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and one of his closest advisers.

*Kushner until joining Trump's regime a Democrat, starting to like him, would appear to be a mellowing influence on the orange idiot*

That's a good way to stop the infighting. It probably beats knocking their heads together.

Donald J. Trump's greatest accomplishment in 100 Days: getting his kids to behave.

Not a fan of his sons. Trophy hunting entitled rich kids! Don't know much about Ivanka but so far she seems to have a fairly good choice in men. Kushner would appear to be the big political stabilizing influence. Being taught maturity and stability by someone half your age!

How long before the alt-right starts calling Kushner a Dem mole?

I like Republican financial austerity. It is their social conservatism I have issues with. Republicans usually free traders which I like.

Who knows Kushner for Pres. Might be able to run on either ticket.

I didn't pay any attention to Ivanka until her last interview and I have to say I was underwhelmed. She is fake inside and out. Plus I think she's bulimic.

KT MacFarland, from the Fox tabloid he brought on, is apparently out as well from the NSC and will instead be appointed ambassador to Singapore.

Steve Bannon says, "I love a gunfight." Any chance that he saw Hamilton?
