Benedict Donald™ and Pickled Pete Kegsbreath™ continue to show there is really no bottom when it comes to MAGA chicanery.

The Trump administration announced this morning that they will allow the government of Qatar to establish their own sovereign military air force base on continental American soil.....a first in the long history of America.

This base will be governed by both Sharia and Qatari military law.

The purpose of this air force base is ostensibly train Qatari military fighter jet pilots on state-of-the-art American fighter jets recently sold to Qatar by American aircraft manufacturers

The Trump administration will presumably give the government of Qatar the locations of all American synagogues within the striking range of these Qatari aircraft, and designate all space overhead of these house of worship as "strictly no fly zones". (wink, nudge)

Local Idaho "freedom fighter" Rightguide (formerly known as Vetteman) was seen earlier today getting his "wolverines" jacket out of his storage unit before stopping at his local guns and ammo shop inquiring about the availability of shoulder-fired stinger missiles.

I have to admit this is a novel strategy for keeping rogue authoritarian theocracies from unilaterally bombing other countries in the Middle East without fear of consequence.

What demoncrat allowed for dem dere mooslims to sneak in and ream us through our own back door??!!😡😡😡😡

Idaho? No! You da ho, hegseth!

Fuck that.
Its worth remembering when President George H W Bush strong-armed doddering Saudi King Faud into creating an American air base (Prince Bandar AFB) within the territorial interior of Saudi Arabia, religious extremists led by a guy named Osama Bin Laden attacked the World Trade Center to show their unhappiness.

The F35 fighter jet has an operational range of about 1250 miles... roughly the distance from Qatar's capital Doha to Israel's capital Tel Aviv......

....or, if you like, exactly the same distance (give or take a few miles) from the new Qatari AFB to BrightShinyGirl's suburban Los Angeles apartment.

Both distances are one way, though, and would require mid-air refueling to make a round trip.

Creative BS with some truth. There have been some 5000 plus foreign military pilots training in the US:

As of 2023-24, Ukrainian pilots are training in the U.S. for F-16 operations. For example, several Ukrainian pilots are training at the 162nd Wing in Tucson, Arizona. Army Recognition+1

Rob won't admit it, but he's been doing the same in Texas:

You might recall BrightShinyGirl clutching "her" pearls about Qatar's "deep ties with Hamas".

(Qatar has deep ties with virtually everyone in the Middle East with the exception of the United Arab Emirates).

Qatar had the deepest ties, though, with Israel, until Israel screwed the pooch last month and bombed sovereign Qatar soil.

So you're saying that Ukranian forces training as US military bases run by the US is the same as Qatari forces training at a Qatari military base run by Qatar?

Assuming this is not a rhetorical question, why yes....yes he is.

He hasn't gotten his talking points yet and has yet to realize that even MAGA is recoiling in horror and disgust at this "deal".

Is that the same Qatar that gave the Grifter a Boeing jet, and gave Jared Kushner billions of dollars for his private equity grift, and gave Eric the Unwanted a deal to build a golf resort?

Say it ain't so.

I have nothing to add. I hope this is BS.

Where are the Epstein files
Refer to my link on Post 7. Kegsbreath is crowing about this as if it were some sort of crowning achievement of American diplomacy.

The Trump administration is really pulling out all stops to push the Epstein files of the front page.

Is this for real? I mean, Trump wants to keep out hard working Mexicans whose labour lets you Americans eat cheap food and build things cheap . . . but let in Sharia with sophisticated weapons?

Rest of the world says:
  • Trump opened the AI chip floodgates, shipping 500,000 cutting-edge processors annually to Gulf states.
  • Trump reversed Biden’s AI chip restrictions, allowing oil-rich allies access to the best U.S. chips.
Might as well let them come directly to collect their chips.

The Arab nations got the windfall of a lifetime.
Orange Julius Caesar™ and alcoholic Secretary of Defense "Pickled" Peter Kegsbreath may not understand the military application of AI chips, but the Arab world is paying close attention to Ukraine's systematic destruction of Russian border defenses, often with little more than a handful of special-purpose drones costing $200 + chips, made with plywood wings.

This is a fundamental change in warfare.
A $600 drone fleet can take out a $500K russian missile.
$2000 worth of drones crippled the most advanced shallow-water frigate in the Russian navy (half a billion-with-a-B) in the middle of the primary transport canal in Russia, causing logistics stoppage to clear the wreckage for two weeks.
Want a Sikorsky Special Forces troop helicopter destroyed? $800 cash in advance comrade!

Jets have used high temperature aluminum flares to avoid heat seeking missiles since the 1950s. That ruse is rapidly becoming obsolete....AI can detect flares, switch off heat tracking and navigate on last known GPS position via intense calculation of trajectory, speed, last known confirmed ground position. It's incredible.

While Tubby and Lester focus on pushups and beards, all the heavily muscled Airborne Ranger Special Ops Snipers in the world can't operate without things like air support and logistical resupply. AI focuses on disrupting supplies and infrastructure. Keep them knives sharpened, boys, you might not be getting any more bullets or MREs for a few weeks.

Imagine Iran smuggling in a few thousand special-purpose drones to Hamas. For less than $50,000 or so, Hamas could conceivably cripple both the Israeli military and the Israe;;icivilian power grid for months.

That would be awful, wouldn't it? Just awful.

Carrot Caligula™ appears to have made a monumental blunder supplying the Arab world with weapons like that.

It’s staggering seeing the momentum Ukraine now has in resisting being bullied. The last year they’ve set the pace of the conflict and now appear to be gaining the upper hand, their IT specialists deserve applause.

trump as ever responds best to having his ego stroked, it’s unprecedented to share your cutting edge tech to anyone willing to flatter him.

Why do hate America and want foreign armies to have their own military base? Not a base where they are only trained, but where they own and run it.
You pedophile supporters will agree to anything the moron in the white House says or does.

Trump grew up watching World War 2 movies, which is his vision for the American military: giant aircraft carriers, Kirk Douglas and John Wayne, brave white men storming the beaches, etc etc etc.

Seen through that particular lens, manly men of the second world war see no value in those doohickey chip things, so might as well trade these particular beads for wampum.
(that was incredibly fucked up mixed metaphor above...sorry).

Did you miss the part about 'owning' the base and governing it w/o US laws? None of those you cite are doing THAT.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2025/10/11/qatar-air-foce-facility-us-idaho/

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Friday that the United States will host a Qatari air force training facility at an Idaho air base. Hegseth later said the air base itself would remain under U.S. jurisdiction, after his announcement triggered online backlash from those mistakenly thinking that the decision would amount to having a foreign military base on U.S. soil.

Qatar would not be the first foreign country to send its pilots to train with the U.S. military. Air force units from friendly countries such as Singapore and Germany are hosted at training facilities in the United States, while pilots from NATO countries such as Germany, the Netherlands and Britain have trained in the United States for decades.
