Here's a clear cut example of a simpleton failing basic logic. It's called the Burden of Proof fallacy.

If you make assertions or claims about something, it doesn't fall on anyone else to prove your position wrong. It falls on you to prove your own argument has merit.

This is common tactic used by people who, for example, believe in a god. They assert their belief and claim that a god exists, and demand others 'disprove' the existence of such a being.

That's not how logic or claims work.

The TDS movement operates very much like a religion. The faith is all about the negative claims, assertions and arguments about Trump. All the non believers in their faith are just either ignorant, misinformed, or 'delibrately' rejecting the faith. The religious equivalent being "you just need to open your mind and heart to god", "you know god exists, you're just in denial", etc.
