While Trump plays with his Twitter account, his neo-con advisors have created a hyper aggressive, extremely Russophobic policy plan they are calling the "Trump Doctrine." This "Doctrine" is the opposite of his stated positions during the campaign of getting out of foreign conflicts, avoiding nation building, getting the US out of NATO, and above all improving relations with the Russian Federation.

In a recent speech, obviously written for him by his neo-con and globalist advisors, he outlines an even more aggressive Russophobic agenda including threats to Moscow over energy policy and initiatives to undercut Russian supply of natural gas to eastern Europe.

His belligerent rhetoric toward North Korea is also an ominous sign that we are witnessing the emergence of the Dubya administration part II, at least on foreign policy.

Russia is a gas station posing as a country.

McCain said that.

He's right.

;)

The Oligarchs of Russia use their energy reserves to bully their customers, they skim the profits, kick upstairs to Putin for protection and then they all send it out of the country to protect it while the people live lives of poverty and destitution. I think it is a good message to tell our allies, we have the energy supplies you require and we are not about to sit by while you are being held hostage by a single supplier.

Russia’s goal is to “suppress the widespread adoption of fracking in Europe and the U.S.,” according to a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin from House Science, Space and Technology Committee chairman Lamar Smith and energy subcommittee chairman Randy Weber.

“If you connect the dots, it is clear that Russia is funding U.S. environmental groups in an effort to suppress our domestic oil and gas industry, specifically hydraulic fracking,” said Mr. Smith, Texas Republican, in a Friday statement.

“They have established an elaborate scheme that funnels money through shell companies in Bermuda,” he said. “This scheme may violate federal law and certainly distorts the U.S. energy market. The American people deserve to know the truth and I am confident Secretary Mnuchin will investigate the allegations.”

The Republicans said the panel is already conducting oversight into “what appears to be a concerted effort by foreign entities to funnel millions of dollars through various non-profit entities to influence the U.S. energy market.”

Certainly Russia has a motive. The widespread adoption of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling has fueled an energy boom in the United States that threatens Russian exports of oil and natural gas, which accounted for 68 percent of the country’s export revenue in 2013.

We forced their economic collapse once before. It probably wouldn't take much to do it again.

Not really. We have a right to sell our natural gas surplus and stand up for America first on the world market. If the Russians want to keep that market they can compete.

If you want to start a nuclear war take our troops out of South Korea and Japan and let the Chinese threaten the Japanese and the rest of the region. Let them go ahead and close the Strait of Malacca by controlling its Pacific approaches.
