Truisms Die, Altruisms Metastasize

I’ll share one truism. Don’t wash reds with anything but darks. There was a time of natural fibers and the fear of the color red in the laundry or even of darks being mixed with whites/lights; you know, the dreaded pink underwear. Now we only have to keep an eye out for those increasingly few items that are not colorfast manmade materials (and probably labeled hand-wash only, but there’s a setting for that now). But not really. Laundry has become a super-safe activity. Detergent even comes in those little water-soluble packets! Even you stereotypical nordic-type liberal women can get it right.

We tend to hold technology constant when truisms are replaced by altruisms. Even tech giants fall prey to this: Gates proclaims, we must depopulate! We’re going to run out of food! Pestilence! War! Even as he is a leader in the technologies that are on the forefront of changing that paradigm because truism has become altruism.

Truisms die, but altruisms morph into new causes in a never-ending granulation because the altruist never admits success, the altruist moves the goalposts. The truism was that minorities are inferior sorts of humans. That idea is now considered DOA but the altruistic fight against Racism morphs, changes and becomes the battle to inflate, normalize and mainstream aberrant mental health disorders such as transgenderism. Bigotry is redefined and conflated with Racism.

The lying side is that racism doesn't exist anymore in any capacity to make a difference.

Yes, bigotry and discrimination are conflated with racism from time to time...maybe even more. But bigotry and discrimination are many times driven by racism as well.

There's a reason that many people don't want migrants in the country....and it's not because they are "very fine people".

No one with intellectual integrity is fooled by this broadside against those who advocate for the human rights of minorities, such as transgender people.

Black people are treated worse by cops than white people. Transgender people should be able to live their lives without being harassed and demonized.
