I've made a list of Urban Legends researched by Snopes.com and put them into two Columns. Can you tell which Column is True, and which is False?
No peeking at Snopes.com.
COLUMN A
·Charles Chaplin's remains were stolen and held for ransom.
·JELL-O brand gelatin is made from bones and hides.
·Graham crackers were invented to suppress sexual appetite.
·The color of the plastic tags used to close bread bags indicates what day the loaves were baked on.
·The song Happy Birthday is still protected by copyright.
·Dr. Seuss wrote Green Eggs and Ham after being challenged by his editor to produce a book using fewer than fifty different words.
·When the Titanic hit an iceberg in the north Atlantic, the silent version of the film The Poseidon Adventure was being screened aboard ship.
COLUMN B
·A stuntman was killed during the filming of the chariot race scene in 1959's Ben-Hur.
·Ronald Reagan was the actor originally selected to play the role of Rick Blaine in Casablanca.
·The Japanese and American versions of King Kong vs. Godzilla had different endings.
·President George W. Bush proclaimed, "The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."
·The flush toilet was invented by Thomas Crapper.
·The Great Wall of China is the only man-made object visible from the moon.
·The nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosie" is a coded reference to the Black Plague.
