Okay so I have been watching this every sunday.... really cool I like it oodles.... there won't be any new episodes until NEXT SUMMER.....UGH UGH UGH UGH

missed the final tonight will have to watch it later:(

Just got through watching the last episode - quite a cliffhanger. :D

Pissed that I have to wait until next summer for the next season, but then, maybe the Tudors will start soon, and that'll occupy me until then.

It's good, but I hate when shows do that. I lost interest in Lost because of that kind of crap.

I love trueblood!

But you are right about the gaps. I lost interest in Battlestar Galactica and I never did watch the last season.

I am also a True Blood fanatic. I'm staying up late tonight just to catch the season finale.
Between True Blood and Twilight I do believe I have developed a vampire fetish

I've read the books and I'm pissed that I can't buy the eps. Want it all. Want
it now. Bummed.

good to see other true blood fans, i've watched it every sunday since it started. I thought Rene was awesome, shame he had to be the bad guy. Does anyone else think Eric is awesome? cause i may have a man crush on him.

I think the cast of characters were really inventive.

It's such a wild group that really has done an amazing job acting out Harris's books. I know that HBO was truly the only channel that could have handled the story. Obviously no way it could have been on regular cable.

Yeah, he's the perfect person the play that character, who was my fave character in the books.

My mom has been TIVO'ing it for me, since I don't have HBO. So, I still have the last six episodes to go watch. The books are fantastic, so if anyone is missing the show and hasn't read them, I highly advise you to start reading. :)

What this sudden hooplah about vampires? There's this, that's the biggest talk piece on tv, and there's this Twilight flick that has kids camping outside of theatres apparently.

Must be the season or something.

Speaking of vampires, I just saw this last night. Totally fuckin' creepy. Catch it if you can.

It has Alexander Skarsgård, hello. ;)

What the hell happened to series? I mean a writers strike here and SAG strike impending. I don't know about you, but I am getting irritated. There was a simpler time - a simple time of Happy Days every single week for 24 or more weeks. Why don't viewers strike? Viewers do hold the ultimate key.

I read the reviews for the that one, Liar. Sounds good. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD though.

Ungrounded

I think the "ungroundable" episode of South Park expresses all my feelings about the latest Vampire craze be it Tru Blood or Twilight.

I recommend it highly.

Picked up the DVDs the other day. I really like the fact that even though the characters can be a bit stereotyped, they're still original. Plus, there's plenty of sex. This show makes Californication look tame (except for the squirter episode, which reached a new pinnacle of outrageousness for TV.)

I think the acting on Trueblood is way above average, especially the blonde waitress. With Alan Ball from Six Feet Under involved, it's no surprise this would turn out to be a quality show.

I watched the first four episodes... they were just alright for me, dawg...

I think I'll read the books and wait until they're ALL out and then rent them on DVD, like I did with Buffy. And Angel.

I always wait for the DVDs. I don't think you can use "pause" and "slow motion" while watching cable. Well, I suppose if you have a tivo you can, but cable's too freakin' expensive for me. Plus, when you buy the DVDs, the writers get paid twice, and we can all relate to that, right?

About 15 mins before it comes on I start to get all ansy, I absolutely adore True Blood. When Bill takes Sookie from behind, bites her neck and spills it into her mouth-oh my goodness. And then there's Jason Stackhouse, holy crap that guy is hot. Sorry gonna need a minute.......

Buying the dvd's is quite a bit cheaper than getting HBO, even if you already have basic cable or satellite. Think I got them on sale at Target for $25 and it's $15 a month to get HBO on DirectTV.

I love the books and the series! Love the 1st three episodes of this season....so far..plenty of Eric! I was joking with a friend...saying I have a blonde vampire fetish...because of Eric and Lestat from Anne Rices books (and not the Tom Cruise movie version...but the character in the book). I like how Alan Ball is still incorporating the books....but also drifting apart for them, I'm really happy that Lafayette is still around.

Oh, you missed nothing. It went off a God-complex ledge and floundered in its own loose ends. Ugh. What a waste. It ended with the third season for me.
