Trouble with author profile editor

I hope someone can help me or give me some advice on this.

For some reason, my profile states that I'm interested in men, despite the fact that it lists me as straight. I've gone into the editor and made sure everything is right, made SURE that it is saved and still nothing has changed. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct that?

When I make changes there, they are not reflected on this page for certain questions:

Even though the changes save on that first link, it seems certain fields on these pages are disconnected or not working. Maybe there is another place to edit profile information but I can't find it. Just wanted to let you know that it is not just you with this issue.

The link hasn't worked for several years. It's not high on the site's priorities to fix.

Which one do you mean, the first or the second?

I just thought that recently (like this year I guess) the first link, the profile editor, was updated, and that broke editing the bio page on the website because only some fields update and not all.

I know people cannot edit their forum profiles either, but I thought the one on the actual site bio pages would work.

I can update my Author's Profile (but maybe not all of it, I don't know), but have never bothered about a Forum side profile. They were linked at one stage, but broke apart in 2018, I think. I might have an old profile from when I joined in 2014 when the links did work - but I'm only interested in the Author side.

Yes I also only really care about the author page on the website not the forum one. But a lot of the entry fields just don't seem to work.
