Anyone struggling writing their second chapter for their series?

I've had this series idea for a few years now. Just published the first chapter... finally, but I just can't get started on chapter 2. I haave the main idea of the overall series, but not sure how to get there. I've been working on world building and character profiles... pretty much everything but just sitting dow nand writing the second chapter. Does anyone else have the problem? THoughts?

You'll probably get more responses if you post this in the general Author's Hangout. This particular subforum is mostly used for games and the like... using 'challenges' in the sense of things one is being prompted to attempt, rather than hurdles a writer is struggling to overcome.
I think most writers can report hitting a wall like this. Advice for getting past it or around it should be plentiful, once people see it. I often switch to something else for a while to clear my mind, for example. Or I take a couple of characters and put them in some random conversation; sometimes it's the kernel of a new or reimagined scene, but even if it's discarded it can help me unblock the parts I originally intended to write.
