Trouble Signing on

Has anybody else been having a lot of hassle signing in? First, I go to the Index page and sign in. That used to take me to my CP, but starting today, I have to put in my name and password. I can get to my submissions to check on the one story, but to go to the forum, I have to sign in again, and that usually takes a couple of attempts.

Could it be that since I have just posted my first story here, it is a lot harder for me to sign in?

No problems here. It's the same as it has always been.

It sounds as if you have cleared your 'hstory' and 'saved passwords'.

I have Lit Author Hangout set up as my home page as soon as I open up Mozilla Firefox. No problems at all.

Actually I have 3 pages, my gmail account, AH and yahoo mail. As soon as I open up Firefox, those 3 pages are automatically there on individual tabs.

If you don't want it as home page (security or other), then simply add it in your 'bookmarks', so you can just click on it and open it up automatically.

This is getting sillier now. I go to the home page and when I click on "Sign in", I am asked for my name and password. I put that in and get my home page here. I can look at my one, lonely submission and read the PC but when I try to go to the forum, I am asked for my name and password again. I put them in and the password is the same but he first time I put it in, it is capitalized and the second time it isn't. I have two different passwords.

Wow, this actually happened to me. When my computer crashed, I was having a ton of trouble signing in and actually had to change my password. That didn't work and then it hung up, eventually giving me two passwords. I PM'd Laurel to complain and about 5 minutes later (before anyone got back to me) it went away. Somehow it went back to my original password and everything was fine again. Unfortunately, I have no idea what fixed it, but if you keep having problems, don't be afraid to PM for help.
