Trouble opening Lit Control Panel or chat

I'm suddenly having trouble logging into the chat or viewing my Control Panel. After filling out the login form nothing is happening when I submit it. If I try another (made up) account name it will give an error, but nothing when I give my own. I appear to be logged in since I can post here, but going to the chat doesn't work and going to the Control Panel seems to put the loading screen in an infinite reload loop.

Since I'm not seeing this issue reported already, I thought I'd post here about it.

Thanks for the tip, Penny. Clearing the cache didn't help in this case. I also tried another browser and even restarting the computer, but got the same results. I'm leaning towards TheWritingGroup's thought that there might be something corrupted in the database. Hopefully someone will be able to check it out.

I get this sometimes and Firefox was especially troublesome. If you've already cleared your cache and updated your browser then you may have to give it 24hrs - that has magically worked for me previously

So the solution to my login problems had to do with my PC's system clock not being set to sync automatically. Once I turned that on, everything started working normally again.

Just an FYI in case anyone has a similar issue in the future.
