Trouble finding an editor

So I know there's an editors page that allows authors to find an editor to proof their story, has anyone else had trouble with this? I just can't seem to find anyone that gets back to me with a response. Its a incest/sci-fi story that I need some help with editing and filling in gaps.

The volunteer editor program on Lit is broken. Instead of using it, go to the Editor's Forum here and ask for an editor. Tell them the story's length, category, a little about content and a little about your writing experience. Make sure you have private messaging turned on. Then wait for a reply.

It seems to be, yes. But I've also had some luck there. Approximately 1 in 3 requests sent gets a reply in my experience.
