Trouble burning to disk.

I'm trying to burn some files onto a data disk. I've already got a bunch of files on the disk and there's still plenty of space. I'm using Unlead DVD Movie Factory 3.5.

The trouble is when I burn something onto the disk it doesn't show up. If I look at the disk through Movie Factory the file is there where I put it. It went through the burning process and everything, but when I close the program and just look at the disk the files not there.

Would anyone know what the problem might be?

I suspect that the disk was previously "closed" and new files can't be added to it. Try copying all of the previous files to a new disk and adding the new files and see if everything shows up.

Check your help menu for more information on "closing" a data disk.

Unless you're using a CD rewritable, once you've burnt stuff on once, you can't add more later. You'll need a new CD. And some programs automatically close rewriteable CDs anyway, so even if there is space it's locked, it's burnt, you can't add anything. Fortunately CDs are cheap. I've done the same thing many times... with music and pictures and all those stuff, burnt a CD half full. I think we all do.
