trouble approving threads 27/11/2006

I'm having trouble approving threads I can read them in the story map but when I click the approve/denie button it takes me to a blank page with just text reading:

Error querying: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND t1.thread_id = '56971' GROUP BY t1.thread_id' at line 8

and it does that with each different thread I try to accept or denie?

does anyone know why that might happen?
