Hi. As you can see I am a virgin on the Boards, this is a copy of a reply I made earlier to a thread in another forum but did not get any response perhaps someone here as an observation.
On the theme you are discussing my first submitted series, in loving wife section, has definitely been visited by the trolls. Why on earth do they bother?
I can’t really see a forum that caters for suggested enhancements to the site but an idea to kill the trolls would be this:
Presumably the voting module logs the IP address or similar to stop multiple voting – I would hope it did anyway. If all votes were added/collated for each voter the powers that be could disenfranchise anyone that consistently and frequently gave a 0 or 1. I doubt that there are that many trolls and this process might achieve their extinction quite quickly.
There would be no point in not allowing a poor vote as they are often well deserved although I personally am much happier to receive one that tells me it is due to bad spelling rather than some insane reason or worse still no reason.
