You know, in all my time here, I think I may have once or twice had someone post as unregistered intentionally against something I have said. I have never had my own 'troll', and I have never trolled someone as an unreg. If I had something to say that I felt needed to be said, I said it as me.
Why is it that so many people feel the need to hide? Most the time, I really don't buy that the person is just not registered. They talk about past events, hint at an inner knowledge to the person, and are generally just a pain in the ass.
There are several instances in which I can understand posting as an unregistered. Asking embaressing questions, needing advice, reveleing things about your feelings towards another (in a good way, not as a troll) are all things I can understand.
Why someone feels the need to troll is beyond me. Not everyone thinks, acts, or feels the same about everything. This is life as a whole. I don't understand why some people can not accept that as a norm, and move on, rather then getting all nasty and 'trolling' thier own oppinions.
People think as they want. Its a freedom that each person on the planet has. Not everyone is free to do as they place, but one thing that will always be free is your thoughts and feelings. Those are yours, and I don't know why anyone would want to take those away.
So, I guess my point to this post is, that it's very uncool, no matter the reasons, and that all it does it hurt someone. If you do it to look for attention, then you are far to shallow. Debate is good, when it is done tastefully, and respectfully. Telling someone flat out that the way they think and act is wrong, gets you no where, because to that person, it isn't.
In end, I guess what I want to say, is that so long as you give everyone thier space, and respect it, then they will give it back to you. You don't have to agree, or even pretend to, but you can act civilized and polite in your responce to the disagreement.
