My main issue with it is his lack of sign off from Congress. Even if he legally wouldn't need it, he should get it anyway....it's annoying

As for the looks, I also hate that he's heading up the approval on design....the gawdy gold lame shit is annoying and it's easy to see it will have it.

Second, regarding the looks, I really wish we would have enrolled artists and architecds from across the United States to come up with something more unique than a copy of other arches like Paris, Rome or Germany.
