You're welcome.
It's a shame she isn't selling her dolls. So much more realistic than those silly Bratz dolls. They're lovely.
I had one doll when I was a little girl. I got her on Christmas morning. She peed on my nightie and I cried and threw her away and my sister ate her food. Hated dolls after that.
Oh, I want one for my daughter. I refuse to let her near most dolls. Ugh. The all look like strippers, FFS.
Hi Jen!
G'day girls.
I'm glad you all like the video and the dolls. My daughter might be interested in recycling Bratz dolls. Or we could do it together. For fun.
I really wanted to buy her something nice for Christmas. She's just recently turned 12. We've been talking a lot about Christmas lately and we're all very excited about our first Christmas in our new home. We've gotten a few things sorted which I am very happy about.
Anyway, my daughter and I were chatting the other week and I asked her if she still liked toys, because she goes to high school next year. She smiled a big smile and said she loves toys.
I immediately felt silly for asking, but I wanted to be sure. I want her to be happy. And also because I don't remember having toys at that age. Maybe I did and I just don't remember. I remember doing other things. I had books and a surfboard and a beautiful big garden to run around in. And chores.
I'm so glad she likes toys though tell you what because I have been having an absolute blast looking at them!Walking around, pressing buttons, cuddling all the bears to see which ones are nicer to cuddle, perving on the hot moms.
And how good do Strawberry Shortcake Berry Bitty Dolls smell? Oh my god. I'd forgotten. I bought all 4 of them. Strawberry Shortcake and her three berry best friends Raspberry Torte, Lemon Meringue and Orange Blossom.
That's when I remembered the ex-SCIRO scientist from Tasmania who recycles Bratz dolls and creates these wonderful Tree Change Dolls.
Take me with next time you go teddy bear testing!![]()

I would love that! You could be Chief Bear Testerer.![]()
I got the American Girl Christmas catalog today and asked the 14 yr old if she wanted to look or should I throw it away? She said she just wanted to look...she disappeared with the catalog to her room for 30 mins.![]()
I knew I would find my calling one day!
Also, I think it's awesome that you're letting your daughter grow up at her own pace. When I was 10, I was told I was too old for toys.![]()
Me town at I really like about this story is that the people seem so gentle. In a way I could never be, but really admire, and even envy, and the strong family unit they show. They grandmother making little clothes, the daughter playing and enjoying, the husband showing such pride. To me its about more than the dolls. Hmm. Perhaps its not surprising that people who are so strong as a unit and might find it easier to see strength in a ( pretend) face not given courage by so much make up.
I think'me town At I' was auto corrected from ' actually, what I '( from my post)
Sometimes I read back my posts and wonder how cruel autocorrect really intends to be?![]()
Haha! I do that! I like browsing.
You could do that! Test toys. Quality control.
Aww, 10? You were just a baby. I still like toys now in my dirty 30s.
