OOC : It's late but, I had this in mind so hope it makes sense and that maybe it will go somewhere.

Raiean was the perfect thief. She was the smallest in her family, the runt some would call her. Even smaller than most of her people. Raiean was a clan of rare elves, they had similarities of the black panthers, mostly their eyes and the pattern of their skin. The royals were the only ones that held power, made it easier to keep the peace and order of the city.

Raian was part royal, though she held no powers. Mainly because she refused to believe she was royal, lived among the common people all her life and was told of her heritiage by rumors only. Becoming a theif among those that travel the roads, making them pay a *toll* for passing through *her* lands.

Although today was different, Raiean didn't feel like doing her daily routine. There was something out in the woods that caught her attention, her curiousity for something new. Desire for adventure. It was a cave. But for some reason this one had an arch way, a secret door that would lead inside. Most humans wouldn't know how to get in, but she did. Through out the day she prepared herself, getting pick locks for whatever was inside, other doors, treasures, anything that would be locked.

Once night fell she headed out, blending completly in the shadows with her black skin and black cloak. Raieans' night vision was her only guide through the heavy forest. This cave was some ways from the city and she didn't want to bring unwanted attention from laterns or other means of light. Upon finding the cave and getting a closer look at the runic carvings that trimmed the arch, it was a language she heard about long ago and barely remember.

Tracing her fingers along the carvings and speaking loud enough at what she was reading, the stone door finally opened. At first it was pitch black inside, paused for a moment to let her eyes adjust to the deeper darkness within, shortly after she started to walk inside. The stone closed leaving her trapped inside, after what seemed like an never ending tunnel, unable to use the walls for a guide, pretty much blinded. Wasn't hard to tell that this room was huge and a few moments later she started to see the walls shimmering, as if they had glitter on them.

Being how that meant there was a source of light from somewhere, she followed in that direction. Only to come up to a dining like room. Massively huge. Had a fire pit along one wall, dragon sculptures on both sides, royals dining table with chairs on both ends only, generous abmount of food among the table. All kinds of statues through the room, gargoyles, serpants, dragons. As if a dark lord lived here. Off in one corner, seemly out of no where, there were jewels. Necklaces, headpiece, rings. As if whoever was here was expecting either her, or someone else.

This didn't bother her, Raean was drawn to the jewels, slowly walking towards them with caution yet, as if in a trance as well.

OOC ~
I'm baseing the room off of what the room looks like in that movie Legend.. Either way, if this made sense to anyone and if anyone is interested in handling this little thief, it's open. This can go just about anywhere, from a dark lord that has his eyes set on her, to teaching her a lesson.

A pair of gold eyes watched the little thief through a magic bowl filled with water. The gold eyes belonged to a powerful young dark elf. He was known as Kal'ith, and though he was well known, he had a mystery about him. There were rumors that he was the son of a great king, others that he was a great demon out to steal the souls of everyone. Neither was true, but he wasn't going to be correcting them anytime soon. He was in fact the grandson of a powerful dark mage named Na'lthruth Go'rin. No one was really sure of his true where about as his grandfather had masked the cave with a spell to have the enternce to show at the place of the controller's chooosing.

Recently Kal'ith had choosen this place because the elf thief had caught his eye. He wanted to have her and also punish her for trying to steal from him, even if he had set her up.

"Yes, take the beautiful treasure thief. It won't be your only haul for the evening."

Raien felt someone or something watching her, but the shine and glittering of the headdress was taunting her. She was afraid of it, at the same time, enthralled from it's beauty. Something like that would feed her and her family for months. Maybe even please the royals in some way of freeing her friend. Either way it was something she had to have. Raien was out in the open at first and in realizing this, she had moved into the shadows. Knowing that it may already be to late to hide in such a place.

Creeping though the shadows unseen, keeping her senses sharp and very alert. Raien picked up the jewel piece she had been eyeing, unwilling to help herself, she put it on. Looking into the glass reflection. It was very gorgous on her. Brought out the green sparkle in her eyes, made her deep blue hair shine even more as the silver chains ran down her hair. Raien was stunned by how she looked, specially with the piece on. Never seen herself this clear before was a shock to her.

Behind her the fire in the pit blazed a bit higher and brighter, even that didn't seem to phase her. What did though, was a moving shadow off to the side. First she looked, trying to see if it was just her imagination and when she found nothing, turned back to the other jewels to pick up what looks like an amythst choker while turning back to the looking glass as if it was nothing.

walking along the same corridor Gar'yk, the night elf, heard sounds. he had seen Raiean open the door to the cave and he assumed that there must be great fortunes to be found inside. his mind was on one thing, riches. so he cloaked himself and followed Raiean inside the cave being quite stealthy and quiet. he noticed her trying on these pieces of jewlery and found Raiean to be quite beautiful. his attraction to Raiean was not going to stop him from attaining his goal of money, however. though the way her green eyes and deep blue hair shimmered with this head dress on. Gar'yk had to have it. or her. so he stood in the darkness watching her until he noticed her looking around, this shocked him so he moved from his position a little closer to her. he could almost hear her breathe as he watched her fingers entwined in some necklace.

Kal'ith smiled for a moment, licking his lips as he watching and admired the elf thief as she put on the headdress. However, he noticed the shadows move as he widen the view in the pool to see the entire room.

"Hmm..so it seems I have another visitor. Let's see who it is."

He waves his hands over the water in a few intricate motions, chanting quietly. Soon Kal'ith is able to see the second view, though his cloak isn't removed, merely that the elf mage can see invisible objects now.

"So you came to join the party. How about having a little fun tonight?"

The door to the room slammed shut, trapping both of them. It sounded like a thunderclap, enough to startle both of them. On either side of the door was a suit of armor, one holding a battle-axe while the other held a sword. The two suits of armor came to life as they began walking towards the two thieves. The battleaxe swung down in front of Gar'yk, just missing him by a hair. The swordsman continued towards Raien, swing his sword at her. The sword caught her cloak, slashing partly through it.

with an amazing quickness he removed his sword from his holster and poised himself. his muscles tensed for any movment neccesary. he sized up his opponents and quickly calculated the proper moves neccesary to defeat one. he hoped Raiean could fight because he'd need her to win this battle. he looked over at her quickly and watched as her chest moved up in down as her breath quickened as she was now able to see him standing there. he turned his attention back to the suits of armor and lept for the one with the sword visualising the point of impact and the damage it would do and stabbed through its midsection.
