In a place much like our own. Modern Age, Past and fantasy have mingled to create a magical realm of swords, bullets and sorcery. The World of Mahouteki!

There was a long war, dubbed the Wizard's War, which two Countries attacked using magic. In Mahouteki, Wizardry is mastered by Art Work, gems and through weapons. After the War ended, the arts and Magical weapons were scattered across the world. Now, 20 years later, Treasure Hunters after these Artifacts of Wizardry, travel the world to hunt them down.

This the story of one of the teams, Jiyuu, led by Damien Kainen and his air ship of the same name.

My Own:

Name: Damien Kainen
Status Within the Team: Leader or Cap'n of the Jiyuu
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Weapons:
-A Large Sword With a Skull Design [Power of Dark]
-A Pair of Gauntlets and Grieves [Power of Light]
-Twin Guns
-A Pendant [Can change Damien into a demon whose appearence depends on his weapon]
Appearence: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v139/Amarix/kuno.gif
Bio: The Young Warrior and Leader of the Jiyuu Crew and the Jiyuu Ship. He was orphaned because his parents died during the Wizard's War and was then raised by a Mercenary who took many jobs as a hunter. The Mercenary disappeared after he taught all he knew to Damien. Although a bit too cocky, Damien's natural leadership has brought him quite a crew. Although he tends to hit on some of his female crew members, he only seems to do it because he's been lonely all his life.

Name: Silver Sky

Status Within the Team: Damien Kainen's Second in Command

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Weapons: A beautiful sword with a black crystal embedded in the hilt, it is created of unknown material and controls a mysterious power. She's constantly surprised as the sword seems to guide her in battle and has a power she's never seen before.

The black crystal allows her to speed, slow, or halt time completely for a limited amount of time.

Appearance: See attachment.

Bio:

Silver, the silent one until crossed. She's chosen to long forget her past as it only involved horrible memories of her family getting slaughtered by soldiers of the Wizard's War.

She joined with Damien's crew to find an artifact that calls to her in her dreams. Her sword is a key to acquiring the artifact. She's only recently become owner of the sword. It simply appeared at her side one night when she awoke from an odd dream.

Her face is always a careful mask of caution and ice or pain and sadness, but nobody has ever seen her smile. She's very talented at blending in with the background so she never receives any attention other than that of her duties.

They she may appear emotionless, she's driven by loyalty to those that she considers kind.

During battle a pair of downy white wings appear on her back, the odd head gear on her head flips down to cover her mouth and nose. She isn't completely sure, but she feels that her wings may focus her magical abilities and sharpen her control over the sword she wields.

(I'll be revising this character as time goes on, don't be surprised if you see it change ^_~)

OC Welcome

Hello LadyFairy,

I'm looking forward to get this post moving on. I've wrote the majority of my posts with Kensuke so we are very well acquainted. But I don't know you, obviously. Anyway, I think it will be a pleasure weaving this spell with the two of you.

I just hope that we get some more people and I hope that they can, lol, reach deep into themselves and explore this thread with us. ;)

oc

Thanks i am looking forward to the thread i have always been interested in these types, and have started similar ones of my own. So i am looking forward to writing with both of you as well.

Name: Eri Raine
Status Within the Team: Navigator/Tech
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Weapons: A spiked metal ball, about 5 inches in diameter, attatched to a long chain. A bag of mini bombs that explode on contact. She also has several throwing knives which are useful for pinpointing weaknesses in mechanical/inanimate objects.
Appearence: Eri is a small woman, brushing 5'0", with a delicate build that belies soft curves. Her face is round and her features almost pixie-like, but her grey eyes seem much older than her 20 years. Her hair is two-toned. The white (upper half) is cut in jagged layers from the corner of her eyes to her ears, accompanied by long bangs brushed to the side. The black (bottom half) rests under the white and is cut in longer layers from where the white layers end to the tops of her shoulders. She wears a thin, black, long sleeved shirt that's torn away several inches below her breasts. A pair of army green pants are slung low on her hips and rolled up below her knees. She finishes off the look with a pair of black ankle boots. The only thing "odd" about her look is a small pair of slick, black feathered wings. They seem to serve no purpose except to flutter occasionally.
Bio: Eri's parents were killed at the end of the Wizard's War and knows nothing about them. She was adopted by a witch, who wasn't put off by her wings, and raised by the woman until she died when Eri was 15. Since then she's hopped from air ship to air ship, finally sticking with the Jiyuu. Although the thrill of searching for the artifacts calls to her, her true goal is to try to find out about her heritage.

Frost Mountain. A place of peice, quiet, cold weather, and now, several profanities. "Fuck...Fuck...Fuck!" I, Damien Kainen, continuously swore as I was running down on of the many ice caverns within the mountain. I stopped for a second to catch my breath, and I stared at the mask. The mask which, moments ago, was withing a Dragon's mouth. The Crystal Mask.

"This better be worth it." Roar echoed through the caverns. I looked to see the same blue eyes that were hunting me. "SHIT!" I yelled, running once more. I took a few more steps, and the frozen ground crumbled beneath me. The large frost dragon came through the same hole I was falling, and followed me through the air. I took out my twin guns and fired as I spun through the air. "Mother...Fucking...Dragons!" I yelled feeling the cold chill on my skin. The pendant across my neck began to shine, and allowed me to land on my feet. I turned to see a passage way with a light at the end. I ran to it.

At the end of the passage way it was a dead end. I either commit suicide jumping...or let the dragon eat me. "I hate fuckin' dragons." I stated. I turned and drew my large sword. At the moment it would have beaten me, I leaped atop the head of the enormous frost dragon. In the distance I saw the Jiyuu flying. I took out my communicator. "Guys! I'm in a little problem here!"

The main deck of the Jiyuu was strangely silent and the hum of the engine and the noise of the computer system seemed to fill up the entire space. Its pilot and main technician, Eri Raine, was leaned back in her chair, boots propped up on the controls, and her eyes closed. A complete opposite from her captain below -- not that she knew anything about that. Maybe.

Taking a long drag from her cigarette, enjoying the haze of smoke around her small form, she continued to scan for disturbances in the area. Fires, explosions, and general catastrophies were common when Damien was allowed out by himself. Yawning, Eri put out her cigarette and opened up the comm link. Because the last maintainence check had been so recent, she'd forgone actually docking the ship and decided to just let it hover. Not that she had any idea that it would come in handy. Of course not.

Smirking, her wings twitching between her body and the seat, Eri shook her head as Damien's voice boomed through the comm system. Thankfully she only had it opened to the main deck. How was she to know that her reckless Captain would probably end up pissing off a frost dragon during his search for the Crystal Mask? Simple, it could only be expected. Sitting up straight, Eri typed in his coordinates and allowed the line to stay silent for a couple of second. Lighting up her second cigarette, she chuckled and took off.

"ETA approximately 7 seconds. Good thing I know you too well, hmm, Damien?"

"ETA approximately 7 seconds. Good thing I know you too well, hmm, Damien?"

"Thank the gods!" I yelled as I shut the com. The frosty air was blowing on my skin. I turned around and looked at the frost dragon. "Sorry, but this party is over!" I kicked it with my Light Greaves, and Jumped to the air ship. The hatch opened and I got in. The dragon roared, and I continued firing at it with my hand guns. "Eri! Get us outta here!"

"You are such a fucking drama queen, Damien. Fuck."

The frost dragon was closer than she though and Eri threw her body into the turn. Fingers flying across the controls, the view screens popped up and she nearly lost her cigarette. Mumbling a string of curses under her breath, the tiny woman reached over to hit Damien hard.

"That was probably the stupidest shit you've pulled lately, Kainen. What were you trying to pull? The fucking mask can't be worth that much...and...if it is, I better be getting a huge portion of the procedes."

Sighing and flicking the smoldering end in Damien's direction, Eri made sure they were out of harm's way and began running a diagnostic scan. Nothing that a little TLC couldn't fix -- the Jiyuu looked good to go.

"Geez, Sorry. I was trying to get that for a bigger plan." I had that usual cocky smile that meant bad news for the team.

I walked to my quarters, laughing out loud, almost maniacly. Oh what I had planned for us.

OOC: I second Ken's motion -- the more the more merry!

"I hate you, hate you, haaaate yooooou!"

Eri's words rang out in sing-song fashion through the bridge, her eyes narrowed and focused hard on Damien's back. Yes, she would save his ass. Yes, she would follow him during the most dangerous missions. But, she hated, hated, hated when he acted like this. It only meant that there was something worse than pissed frost dragons.

"Jiyuu, darling, make sure that if Damien turns on the water in the next 12 hours that he'll get a chilly blast of ice cold water. Thank you!"

Suddenly feeling bright, she shifted the controls into autopilot and pulled up a map of their surroundings. Nothing really big, no metropolitan areas that was for sure. A couple small villages and one fairly large estate that showed up on the edge of the screen. With the Frost Caves behind them, things seemed to be looking up. If only she could beat some sense into her captain first.

"Oh and make sure he gets caught in a couple of doors, please."

I turned on the communicator. "Everyone, meet up at the bridge. I'm gonna reveal our next job." I stated. I had changed in the room, and when I was about to get out, the door wouldn't open. "Jiyuu...this thing is stuck."

The Jiyuu computer simply said: "Sorry. Does not compute."

"Crappy machine.." I mumbled. I forced the door, open, and it shut while I was crossing it. I got to the bridge and waited from my crew.

Name: Tanyruu Goh
Status Within the Team: Crewmember / Fire Magician
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Weapons:

Two red and black metal gauntlets that enhance fire magic, as well as offering limited resistance to fire.

A rather large, bulky, pistol that looks like a colt .45 which is inscribed with the words, "The Lawgiver" on the side.

A pair of plain short swords with several runes written on the sides, they're called Phobos and Deimos.

Appearence: A dark, but wise sort of appearance. Tanyruu generally dresses in black. Long, spikey, black hair, greyish-blue eyes, and pale skin make up the physical appearance. The articles of clothing Tanyruu usually wears are made up of her gauntlets along with brown leather boots, black and red skirts, and a sleeveless red shirt.

Bio: Tanyruu was a young child when her parents died in the Wizard's War. She was a magician with an affinity for fire magic and was quickly trained by her parent's, who were also magi, associates. When she was old enough she became a mercenary and treasure-hunter before joining the crew of the Jiyuu. Her heritage, though it has given her a bit more knowledge on the puzzles and beasts the crew faces, also makes her cocky. But even then she is the prevailing cooler head when tempers flare among the crew.

"Don't abuse the ship just because she doesn't like you."

Thankful she hadn't left the bridge, Eri was perched on the arm of her chair and wrinkled her nose. Although Jiyuu was technically Damien's ship, as pilot, she felt especially close to the air ship. Enough to give Captain plenty of trouble if the thought arose. Crossing her ankles, she gave the view screen a once over before turning back around.

"So, where's the pretty-pretty mask that is going to get us into bad-bad trouble? Oh and I'd appreciate it if you'd shower before we went off on another mad cap adventure, I can smell you from here."

OCC: Wow, I'll need a while to get comfortable with this character, so please bare with me! I'm in agreement with everyone. Bring on the players and let's have fun!

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_

My eyes slowly open to the annoying ring of my communicator. I laugh with misery and mock humor as I grab the mechanism. Did something happen while I was asleep? Why does he insist on doing all of the fun things when I'm not awake? With a mixture of silent annoyance I dawn my armor. Of course, we always meet in the bridge.

I sit quietly in the bridge of Jiyuu and wait for the briefing to start. After a few moments I blend completely into the background and out of the way. At least until Damien decides that I have a job that he would like me to complete. I rub the sleep from my eyes and wait patiently for him to speak.

Tanyruu

Tanyruu entered the bridge grogily, quietly putting her gauntlets on. She put her belt on which held her swords and the rather large lawgiver pistol. She yawned before sliding into a chair, crossing her legs and sitting back. "What's with all the commotion? I heard something going on while I was trying to sleep."

"And what do you want us on the bridge for? What are we looking for now?" She glanced over at Eri and smiled before returning to her regular demeanor, watching Damien quietly before removing a cigarette from a pouch on her belt. She summoned a spark from her finger in order to light it, taking a deep drag and releasing the smoke in a content sigh.

"As I thought when I saw that Frost Dragon, the Mask has no magical properties. So! Instead, we're gonna head here." I brought out the map of a large town. "Say hello to Noble City. Home of the Richest folk in the world. They have an auction everynight at a Noble's house. Along with a party." I smiled as the final words passed through my mouth. "We're gonna sell the mask, take what magical items we can get our hands on, have a bloody good time, and then we get the hell outta there."

"You're a fucking moron, Damien."

Eri glared and stabbed a finger in his direction, her gaze softening as she looked over at Silver and Tanyruu. Twirling a cigarette between her fingers but not lighting it, she huffed loudly and rolled her eyes.

"You risk your life, piss off a very nasty frost dragon, and almost damage Jiyuu so that you can grab a mask with no magical properties. And now you want us to auction this worthless piece of crap so we can steal a bunch of crap."

Placing the cigarette between her lips, she hoisted herself up on the dias in the middle of the bridge. Crossing her ankles and fiddling with her lighter, Eri took a deep drag and blew a large cloud of smoke in Damien's direction. Calming down a bit, she smiled back at Tanyuu before shooting one last look in Damien's direction.

"Fine, whatever, but...this better be worth it. And you owe me and Jiyuu several upgrades after this is done."

Noble City . . . I need to go there. I've a pull to go there. The same feeling I always get, knowing that something is important for me to learn, something critical. I won't find my artifact there, but we'll end up finding at least one magical artifact that will do us some good or bring in a lot of money.

"Jiyuu, please transfer a holographic map of Noble City to my communicator." I say it softly so I don't interrupt the meetings proceedings.

"Download complete," Jiyuu's monotonic voice tells me.

Quietly, I open the map and study the large city. I study every little detail that the map gives me waiting for my instincts to to hum softly. Three area's of the city come to my attention: the auction house, a grand scholar's library, and a garden who's access is restricted only the highest of the noble lords and ladies.

"Damien?" I ask quietly, "What are the names of these places?" I show him the indicated areas.

"The auction house is Blaze Manor, belonging to Alfred Blaze the IV. The garden also belongs to him. He uses it to show case some of his art, so we're hitting there too."

She showed me the library.

"...That belongs to Sir Zieg. That library contains a wide collection of books about the Wizard's War."

I slowly nod to Damien . . . Alfred Blaze the IV and Sir Zieg. Blaze Manor, Blaze's personal garden, and a library owned by Sir Zieg.

"Damien? Is there any kind of relation between Alfred the Zieg?" I ask curiously.

I shook my head. "Besides their fondness of art...No. Oh! Since this is a Noble's party, we gotta dress classy, girls. I bought and left a dress for each of you in your quarters. Freshin' up, and get ready. We're gonna partay!" I said, smirking.
