2. I spent about 18 months in 2012, 2013 and 2014 investigating Broward and Miami-Dade school policies and how those policies transfer to law enforcement practices.

3. My interest was initially accidental. I discovered an untold story of massive scale and consequence as a result of initial research into Trayvon Martin and his High School life.

Also consider the post I wrote yesterday concerning exactly what happens when American exceptionalism voluntarily goes John Galt, leaving socialist politicization to tend all to its own, which succinctly applies to the above and all the way down to the SJW rules of engagement Deputy Scot Peterson was obeying when Cruz was on his murderous rampage...

http://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=88756803&postcount=13

Did you know that in 2014 the Broward County Crime Commission named Peterson the School Resource Officer of the Year for the City of Parkland District, citing he proved "to be reliable in handling issues with tact and judgment", and had been praised in School District memos as "tak(ing) pride in protecting the students, faculty and staff at his school"?

Huh. Doesn't quite sound like the intentional chickensh!t/scapegoat/fall guy Democrat Sheriff Israel held a press conference to publicly paint him to be, does it?

We'll find out exactly how many times Democrat Sheriff Israel's Dept. came into direct contact with the killer Cruz after being 911d because of his deadly threats, and then we'll find out why Democrat Sheriff Israel's Dept. chose to not enforce Florida's Baker Act upon Cruz, allowing Cruz to keep possession of all his weapons, including the one he used to kill 17 innocent lives...

Once RINO, now socialist/progressive Democrat Sheriff Israel is in full SJW CYA mode...

Leave 'em to their own doings and wannabes'll always end-up frying themselves.

Who is John Galt?

Guess who was specifically warned twice about Cruz threats? The same school resource officer who hid during the shooting. Part of his job is to know the students and any risks they might pose. That's why he was notified.

Had they Baker'd him and confiscated his guns there is no way this kid had the resources to get them back.

Cruz was found previously with bullets on campus so he waz barred from bringing a backpack. As if the container for the bullets was the problem, not the actual person who brought them.

One of the very many things that are wrong with the educational industrial complex is Federal money. Because the schools share of federal money is dependent upon how many butts they have and how many chairs for how many days of the year they insist on keeping (non)students in school that should be expelled because they want that per pupil money.

Really? Are you referring to this guy:

Or, are you referring to one of the other 4 Officers video now shows did nothing to confront Cruz as he was killing, either.

Recall, Sheriff Israel pronounced in the press conference he held yesterday to publicly denounce Peterson's alleged negligent that the Deputy's job was to rush and kill Cruz...

...so why didn't at least 4 other Deputy's not do their "job", either? One Deputy not doing his "job" all of a sudden sprouts into looking like 5 Deputies obeying Department real-time orders/overall policy.

Also: if I'm a Deputy, and I take reports of disturbing student behavior, am I the one who actually acts upon those reports, or do I hand those reports up-the-chain - as per Department policy - so higher authorities can better decide on how to respond to those reports, or not respond at all?

Valid.

The judgement part of the tact and judgement compliment sounds like he was taking no action that might produce police and school numbers that reflect poorly on the "wrong" groups of students.

Correlating statistics to suspected causations changes completely depending on who's doing the correlating and what they set out to "prove."

This is all going to come down to the policies the totally politically partisan Democrat Broward County Sheriff has implemented and ruled over for the last 5 years.

FL's Baker Act was there for the Sheriff's Dept. to enforce, which would've separated Cruz from his weapons - at least temporarily. Was it the Sheriff Dept.'s SJW police policies linked-to in the OP that stood down FL law?

And why did the arriving fully locked and loaded Deputies, specifically responding to the call of shoots fired/shooter, do the same thing as Peterson - nothing?

Policy?

I didn't know about the other deputies.

Leaves me with more questions than answers here.

Strikes me as odd though that the on campus deputy resigned rather than protest being thrown under the bus if that is what this was.

The only way I could reconcile those two things is if that Deputy knew that he was going to get no support from the Sheriff and didn't want to become the next Zimmerman.

I did hear a curious clip where the Sheriff was saying something about not releasing video footage because of ongoing investigation now and possibly ever. When I heard that this early he is suggesting that he may have footage that he may never release that struck me as awfully premature and odd even though I can certainly understand why they might hold that back but generally they don't announce that they're holding back.

For the first day of this incident I avoided any input, because it was my own small personal way of not aggrandizing the shooter. Ideally, I would have liked to have lived my entire life and know nothing about the shooter or the incident.

I've caught bits and pieces here and there and not nearly enough to a form any sort of sense of time line but my understanding is he came in, he shot soon, at some point he tossed the weapon, blended with the students, and left.

Are shots definitely still being fired when the other four deputies arrived?

Not sure the source but I heard at one point that the deputy was claiming that he was doing what he was supposed to do which was observe and report the location and description of the shooter.

I've heard several times that policy & laws don't matter people are going to do what they want to do regardless.

The nonsense surrounding the politicization of the completely justified Trayvon Martin shooting I'm sure would impact every Florida PD.

The PD saw Zimmermans injuries which were entirely consistent with his version of events and eye witness that observed an assailant on top of another man. Trayvon Martin had no such injuries so we know for a fact that Zimmerman was the one on the bottom.

Without a doubt, self-defense.

The police department made absolutely the right call as did the County Attorney assuming that it even got that far. They were only able to indict him by absolutely criminal prosecutorial misconduct. Such misconduct should result in jail time.

If Zimmerman's last name was Cruz, or were he black, we would not even know Trayvon Martin's name.

Our President maintains that armed security officers and teachers will deter any potential mass shooter.

But the armed deputy at Parkland's school apparently didn't deter their shooter at all.

A single armed deputy, whose whereabouts a former student would know is not "armed security officer(S) and teachers."

Rejecting the entire concept of a gun free school zone is not the same as saying reversing that will dissuade any and all shooters. When discussing that he quite specifically mentions the idea of the shooter not knowing who is and who is not armed. A uniformed Deputy does not fit that description at all.

Given you anti-gun nuts propaganda that an AR-15 is magic and works just like the first person shooter games I have little doubt this guy used in his fantasy rituals pre-shooting, he would not fear a pistol, so you may have a point.

now the gaurd is being blamed at least they are not blaming the children and victims any longer

I totally agree.

man, no one has been doing that hahaha ;)

“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”

i just took that from another site and thats just one example but there are more.

Well, that's what Trump said, so you should consider the source. He's often clueless as to how his words will be taken.
