Travelling Ideas

Want to create an "Around the World in 80 days" type scenario but using romantic/sexy locations. Usual ones are Paris, Athens (possibly gay scenario). Have also thought New Orleans would be hot. Any thoughts on specific locations and spots there. For example Paris, it might be the Louvre or the Arc D' Triomphe.

In Gay Paris, the Eifel tower would be a great place for some exhibition.

When You pass through Asia, The great wall of China has miles of nooks and crannies for a little public nooky.

The Taj Mahal is a monument to love, and so it would be a natural place for some loving.

San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, or a cable car) and New York (Times Square?) can't be left out either.

A modern day 80 day world tour could take in Australia and the Sydney Opera House or a quicky in the outback

I think it's a wondeful concept but would take a bit more research than I'd be willing to put into a story to get the locations right.

Hey, the people on this board are from pretty diverse locations. Maybe if a few of us offer up the info about our home towns or one near by that they know of, you could possibly have a great list of places to choose from with the info to back it up, and people could enjoy a story partially set in their "Kingdom"? Just a thought.

This might be an excellent idea for one of those collaborative stories written by several authors. I live in Los Angeles and would be willing to write something set in Hollywood or Beverly Hills, any area in Southern California.

If you want a locale in Ontario, the CN tower may hold some promise. Besides being a phallic symbol, it also has a very long glass elevator ride. The observation deck has a glass floor and an awesome view of the city and Lake Ontario.

mmhhh - sounds promising! I could contribute some bits about Germany (and a few more European places)

Spontaneous picture that came to mind: The Castle of Bavarian King Ludwig ( inspiration for Disney's Cinderella Castle), I wrote an erotic story about that a while ago *lol*, the "Hofbräu Haus" or the Oktoberfest in Munich. Or how about some experience on the highest church steeple in the world, looking down on the Danube?

Or how about Vienna ...the Prater, Stephans-Dom... or one of my fav's: Salzburg - Mozart-city.... love and romance in the air there for sure!

well - let me know if anything comes out of this or if someone pics it up and needs further info - I would like to contribute to a "joint venture" story too if it happened *s*
