hello .... I am having a slight dilemma and am looking for others with experience - if there are any. It seems this year my appetite is formidable - 24/7 - it is relentless !
I will be travelling for a month with a gf and at this point cannot imagine not having a toy with me and am wondering if anyone knows a small quiet toy that is easliy packable battery operated and discreet but mighty and powerful .
thanks ;)

Large, bulbous vegetables do it for me!

Not bothered about the vibration, I just go for size...

Available at any supermarket, as well!

Somewhat related: I was traveling a couple years ago and had my special 'second suitcase' of all my panties, femme outfits and toys. I checked the bag and when I opened it up at my hotel room to begin play time I found a TSA notice wrapped carefully around the shaft of my biggest dildo. Guess they knew someone was going to have a good time! :)

Pocket Rocket, it's a clit stimulator about the size of a tube of lipstick.

I agree with the posters above. I  my Pocket rocket, and I've had it for years. The only thing is it seems to get louder with age. It was virtually silent when I originally got it (although it was still loud than something else I had at the time), but now it is a bit noisy. Still, the size is perfect for discretion, and the vibrations are amazing. Good luck!

There are small toys out there that can be found in most sex shops, but if you're worried about someone searching your luggage and seeing it, then there are alternatives. Get an electric toothbrush. Cut the brush part off the end of one of the spare brushes and get a piece of rubber tubing to fit over the stub of the tooth brush. Then you can travel with a normal looking electric toothbrush, a hunk of non-discript plastic and another hunk of rubber that you can pack separately. Anyone looking in your luggage would only figure it out if he has a dirty mind like me.

Also, I have a battery powered electric razor which we travel with, especially when going overseas where electic converson and all thos stupid little adapter plugs can be a pain. On occassion, my wife has used the back end (not the shaving end.....but I'm thinking about those possibilities as I type) of the razor as a makeshift temporary vibrator.

If you're talking about the super specialized toys like those with double ends for working both crotch holes, then I can't help you there. No way of hiding what those are for. One look and the Pope could figure it out. Then again, the worst that can happen is you may get some wry smiles and a few winks if someboth finds them.

Funny thing, I happened to be channel surfing last night and hit a re-run of "Sex and the City". In it, Samantha has this one pretty large super vibrator that craps out and she takes it back to the store because "surely it must still be under warranty". She walks in, tells the tight-assed looking salesman, "I want to return this vibrator because it's not working".

"That's not a 'vibrator' madam, that's a 'shoulder massager."

"OK then, I want to return this 'shoulder massager' because it doesn't work anymore."

"Well madam, (with a bit of a sneer) Perhaps you just wore it out."

thank you

yes i have a water dancer pocket rocket already -- but am looking at the fun factory layaspot - the bswish bcurious or bsoft or the lelo alia or lily .. anyone used any of these ?? Dont really care about customs ..its my travel mate .. she doesnt need to know what i need to do at the end or the begining of my day {.. or both often } so waterproof and quiet is a must ... thanks again jm

Right, well, then Alia (if you have the money) is your best bet. Expensive, but it's waterproof and quiet as a breath of fresh air. I personally use a Lily which is not waterproof, but it's very quiet, though I've used more powerful bullets I find I can't get off on single-speed items. If you have less money you might be able to get away with a Lelo Mia, which is also quiet (it has a higher pitched buzz, though!), and it has a cap to cover the USB charging port. As long as you don't submerge it and you, y'know, aim the shower away from it it should be safe enough to bring into the bath (though I haven't personally tried this myself with the one I own, I suspect it would hold up used in the shower if you're careful).

I've heard good things about the Layaspot but I'm not sure if it's waterproof.

But what I think will suit your needs best is Lelo's newest line... they're cheaper, waterproof, quiet, small, and battery powered, which I think completely suits what you want.

It's the Picobong line. The two I think would suit you best are Kiki, a 3 inch long mini g-spot style vibeHoni, a bullet-style vibe. I'm personally eying Kiki. Since we have a trigger finger mod who hates links, if you PM me I have a coupon code link to where you can buy them for 10% less than the going price if that's something you'd be interested in.

Even though it's a new line, I trust the manufacturers to make decent toys (of course, I don't have a clit of steel) that do what they say they'll do. And I'd rather spend 40 dollars than 100 dollars for a waterproof vibe to make my travel all the better, hey?

Edit: Have you ever read a spam post? They generally look like "NYC ESCORTS WATCH KNOCKOFFS NIKES FOR CHEAP LINK LINK LINK SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION HO". THAT'S what abusing that rule looks like. Not "Hey, I know of a toy that fits your needs, you can check it out here and buy it if you want." That's a very far cry from "posting only to promote a website/product." Why yes, I'm promoting a product. The original post is asking "can someone tell me about a product that does this?" I can see I'll be keeping my sex toy knowledge in the How To board then.
