Probably been done a thousand times, but...
For what it’s worth, I like the idea of a young woman visiting a foreign country that she knows little about. Shortly after stepping off the plane, she is approached by a cute young child who begs her for some money. She takes her backpack off her back to get her wallet and three other boys grab the backpack and take off running. She gives chase down an alley screaming that her passport and all her clothes and money are in the pack. Eventually she loses the boys, and then realizes that she is hopelessly lost. To top it all off, her cell phone was also in the pack, so she has no way of calling anyone and the part of town she is in does not look friendly.
Looking around, she spots a cute guy working underneath the hood of a car on the side of the road. She approaches him, tells him about her dilemma, and asks if he can help her. He tells her that the kids steal from tourists all the time, and he knows where they take the stolen stuff. If she wants to, he tells her he can drive her there when he gets the car running. Thinking she might get her stuff back, she agrees to go with him. He asks her to get in the car and turn the key. It starts up! He closes the hood, jumps in and tells her to buckle up for safety.
He drives her out to some old building and tells her the boys bring the stolen bags there. He says that they go through the bags and only take the cash. The rest of her stuff will be in the bag as they cannot sell anything since the local authorities are always watching them. They enter the building and he tells her that her backpack will be downstairs in the basement. He leads the way down the stairs and when she reaches the bottom and turns the corner her eyes open wide and she tries to run back up the stairs. Unfortunately the door has closed behind her and is locked. She is grabbed from behind and carried downstairs kicking and screaming. At the bottom of the stairs she is shoved into a steel cage with two other pretty young women. She sees the handsome young man who brought her here being paid several hundred dollars. As he turns to leave he gives her a wave and a wink as she screams obscenities at him.
She talks with the two women who tell her stories very similar to hers. They were both robbed by a group of boys, they chased them several blocks before losing them in unfamiliar territory where they spotted the cute guy working on his car. It was a setup from the moment they deplaned.
Early the next morning the men explain what is going to happen. They will be blindfolded, gagged, and their hands will be cuffed behind their back. They will be led to a van and driven to a new location. They are warned that if they resist, they will be tased, then hogtied, and still delivered to the same place. They wind up at a farm, but there are no farm animals, only armed guards and women who are in various stages of being trained as sex slaves to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Our young heroine must endure six long weeks of training in every kink imaginable so that whoever eventually buys her can use her in whatever way they choose. She must pass strict standards of pleasure giving every step of the way or get punished. At the end of her training, if she passes all standards, she is given a grade which is then tattooed on her forearm. The higher the grade, the more money she will claim on the auction block. She is also told that buyers who pay the highest amount for their slaves typically treat them much better than the ones who buy lower grade slaves on the cheap end. Those women almost always wind up selling their asses on the street corner for fifty bucks a pop. Telling the women that gives them all incentive to play along instead of fighting every step of the way. Since they don’t know where they are and escape is not likely, they have to change their mindset quickly and realize their old lives are over. Their new lives will be in sexual servitude.
Anyway, that’s my idea on the ‘woman traveling alone in a foreign country’ trope.

Unless you've been a globe-trotter all your life, travel stories are a lot of work. You have to do a lot of research to find out sufficient details about your exotic location to make it seem real. Especially for an international audience where you are likely to have readers who know your location well.

Thanks, but no, I won't be writing this. Too many stories already in progress already that I can't seem to finish. Anyone is welcome to use the idea if you wish and take it in whatever direction you choose.

This is true, but through various travel blogs and tripadisor one can recreate a lot of foreign places quite accurately without having ever been there. The bigger challenge is engaging the different cultures of people and how they would behave and think about certain situations...

Like American women going to China, India, Africa? British women going to Australia? Oops! I mean "a woman", not women. Was she kinky in her homeland? A prude? Why is she overseas? You said work, but what does she do? Or does that not matter? Is she there for a couple of days? Months? Years?
Yes, my idea is of a western woman going to an exotic country to work as a college teacher and she gets into some very seedy situations with the local men.
Personally I have lived and studied both in vancouver and in the tropics, so I have a an understanding of travel and the different locations.
I intend to write my story from more of woman's perspective.
I am just afraid that people might find offensive or to lewd. It's the first story I intend to publish on lit.

She not exactly a prude, but just kinda regular, a single mom but been busy with work and life for the past couple of years. She is used to being an independent prim and proper lady in the West. But she discovers the men are bit different in the exotic location.
I was also thinking of making it an illustrated story. I can use actual location pictures I've taken for scenery to give readers an idea. Although I'd have to source for the more suggestive pics or drawings.
Do you guys think I should make illustrated or keep it text based only?

If you intend to publish on Lit, they won't allow "hardcore" images. (No penetration or genital close ups.) And, as far as I know, you're supposed to be the photographer/artist of said material unless you can furnish proof to Lit that you have the owner's explicit permission to use their work.

When I read travel stories I was thinking like a road-trip or a couple going overseas or something but nope seems like adultery and rape is what people is thinking about here.
