with this Rep's voice in NC. Everytime he calls me I get all giggly. He just has this very sexy rough edge to it? And I can't stop imagining him leaning down to hoarsely whisper nasty things in my ear.

There was this one guy in upstate NY whom I used to talk to all the time about 3 yrs ago online and I was literally addicted to his voice. Just him calling and saying "Hey you" would set me off.

Anyone else have a thing for voices or accents?

I have a friend who lives in way down south, just outside of New Orleans and he has the deepest, sexiest accent I've ever heard. I call him at least 3 times a week just to listen to him talk. I've even talked him into reading to me just so he'd keep on talking. I'm kinda strange like that. lol

YES YES YES Every time I get a female voice on the phone calling to sell me something, Im hooked! There is a lady in NY selling rare coins that just melts me - I have never turned her down yet and probably never will. Of course the call always involves her coming to visit personally to deliver them, but that always seems to get deferred.

Deep baritone voices do it for me. Barry White sort of voice.

Is that why I like to call my husband and talk to him on the phone when we are apart? Hearing his deep baritone soothes away whatever is worrying me. We spoke on the phone for hours every night for weeks before we met in person and started dating, I always looked forward to his calls, not only for the intelligent converstaions after dealing with the babblings of my 8-year-old boy all day, but also for hearing that mellow deep voice of his. Sometimes I have my husband tell me tales of his childhood at night, his baritone is soothing and relaxing and helps me rest and get to sleep. But if he talks all romantic and sexy to me in that baritone, I get all horny and sleep is the FURTHEST thing from my mind.

Husband sings the song "You Load 16 Tons..." in deep baritone voice, taught our 13-year-old son that song, and he tries to imitate my husband's deep voice but as he is just going through pubescent voice change now, he can't reach that low a range. But gotta give our son an A for effort.

Recently saw one of our son's friends for first time in a year, and his high-pitched squeaky voice of a year ago has mellowed into a very nice baritone. In the next few years, our son's friend is going to melt some high-school girl's heart with that voice!

But why don't the voices ever match the looks? OK -- often don't match.

I was seriously in lust with the voice of a supply clerk when I was stationed in England. When I finally met her, she looked like a stick figure with a pepperoni pizza for a head. That in itself wouldn't have stopped me, but her personality in person was nothing like it was on the phone either. (much the way many people are more open and interesting here than in RL.)

My fantasy was shattered, and I've never trusted a sexy voice since.

OK So all of us will never marrie a man with an accent lol...of course my man got me for the accent but either way it takes time to work on one I have problem because some people don't understand me!!!!

Oh,WH but sometimes they do! my one and only cyberaffair that turned into R/L was attraction to each other's voice, and that was exceeded by the physical chemistry! Just have to keep trying!

I never really gave accents a thought until I talked to one certain person on the phone, OMG, it just about brought me to my knees. I love the Australian accent. Now I watch movies and commercials with ppl. who have the accent just to hear them, and to think of him of course.
