I know the feeling only too well. I too have all but given up on achieving anything through such avenues as this. simple, honest, straight forward, open sexual discussion; cyber-sex (which I have never done before); and who knows, maybe a meeting so two people can enjoy real company.

The other thing that annoys me too, while we are here is when i do send an e-mail to someone, responding to their posting, I don't get one back. Perhpas whatever afflicts you, also afflicts me.

Know the feeling

I agree. There's a misconception, usually due to the media, that the Internet (and the people who use it to form friendships) is less lasting a method of introduction than meeting in a bar, club or bus stop, for that matter.
