Depends on you want. If you're gonna switch between artists and albums, etc, the apple one is pretty good, but I just leave it and adjust vol and hit prev/next. I think they're all pretty much the same.

One feature I wish the iPod had: real-time dynamic updating of the Smart Playlists. It would be cool if it kept the "Recently Played" and "Top 25 Most Played" smart playlists updated, like iTunes does. Hopefully they'll offer that in the future, as a firmware upgrade.
