I sure as hell am! I noticed it, too, Ginny. It's all Tortoise's fault, I think. (In a good way, of course.)

yes, but I'm loving the company they keep.

"I saw this av, and thought of you."

Hmm. Now that I think of it, the only other person using an image of mine from Ginny's thread is the fair ms. sigh, and her av color scheme is quite similar as well:

Mere coincidence?

Umm, yeah, probably.

<bumped 'cause i saw freescorfr on>

hey free....nice to see you back on the board!.......nice av ya have there.....<wink>......:)

Yes, Ginny, thanks for that,I admire your collage skills. Tortoise's marvellous verifying too, I have missed.
I'm happy with the company of Tortoise and Hamletsmachine, of course.
I was thinking of Hamletsmachine yesterday when I was in Dieppe, since he has an affection for that coastline, which he noticed from another of my pics which I had as an av.

I don't know, was that you? I think my memory is slipping. Do it again!!

Oooh, I may have missed this post if the thread hadn't been bumped!

Give me a topic and I'll run with it.

:D

Topic: rusty steel wool

Oh, sorry, you weren't talking to me, huh?

;)

Glad to see you make another appearance, free, my friend.

I made a big mistake not coming over there this summer. I did love your Etretat av, of course, but would have enjoyed walking those cliffs with you and discoursing fustian with our own shadows...

How have you been?

Trying to decide on the rest of my life. I feel fortunate to be, for the most part, really free. On the otherhand, wandering is not my destiny. Each time I look for a potential place to settle - and I have been offered quite a few - I return here to normandy.
For me , "My grass is greener." Indeed, we have had a wet year and I imagine it is some of the greenest in the world.
I wouldn't mind staying in Orne.

rampant av confusion.......<nodding>.....at least freescorf isn't sporting his.....

And the lovely sigh has abandoned her "muted gold-ish earthtone" av as well.

We're a dying breed.

"And there was much rejoicing."
