I've been looking for a story for a really long time, but I haven't been able to find it through the search engine or Google, so here's this thread.
I'm fairly certain it was in the romance category, and quite long. Bare bones of the story was a couple growing up together and having ins and outs in highschool until they finally get together.
The title kind of gives away one of the most identifiable parts of the story. There's some sort of dance that they're attending that's hit by a tornado, killing everyone there but the couple. They get trapped in the debris for a couple of days and it makes enough news that they're invited to Jay Leno's show.
Other than that, all I can remember is that there may have been a track team thing going on.
Any help would be appreciated.
