Heres the basis of the story:
This story is set in the Victorian Era in a rather small city. The city had two main "powerhouse" families and the rest of the families were peasants. The daughter of the Raglan family, which was the oldest and richest family in the town, was ready to be courted and find a husband. Alana Raglan was already in love though, you see. She had fallen in love many years before with a boy she had known since she was a little girl. This boy's family was once rich and a very powerful influence over the town but the tragedy struck the family when the boy turned about 10, it was unclear when exactly the family went under. The boys family hid the financial troubles very well, taking loans from banks and such. The boy and the girl had grown incredibly close together, if the girl was somewhere, the boy was sure to be there as well. They were stuck at the hip but when the boys family lost everything, the boy lost her. Her parents saw it a disgrace to keep letting their daughter visit the peasant boy so they shut off all contact with the two. But the bond between them was too strong. They wrote letters back and forth by means of hiding the letters throughout the city. They even had quite a few secret meetings. Her mother and father had caught them together one night, the girl was about to loose her virginity to the boy. She had disgraced her family and tried to explain to her family that they loved each other. Her family wanted none of it. They locked her away in the home and had a private teacher come to the home to educate the girl. Alana still loved the boy very much and did not want to marry some stranger, she wanted the boy. Her family would stop at nothing to keep them apart...........
This thread is quite obviously a historical romance thread but of course, its a SRP thread, so yes there will be sex but a little bit later on in the thread.
I will need members for the girls family. A mother, father, younger sister and perhaps an overprotective older brother. Also the boy will be needed of course. The boys family, some peasants, and even members from the other "powerhouse" family trying to catch the girl and boy together to bring the Raglans down.
I will go more into detail with the families and the boy's families past once I get enough people jumped onto the bandwagon.
