simply put a bottom mainly submissive takes the cock and a top mainly domminant gives the cock.

Eazy, you seem to have conflated "top" with "Dom" and "bottom" with "submissive."
While similar, the two aren't synonymous.
Top means the one doing the fucking and the bottom is the one getting fucked.
Dominant bottoms and submissive tops are relatively rare but do exist.
I enjoy both bottom and top, and am new to submission, but quite intrigued.
