Whoa! Uhhh……wow, damn! Excuse me for being stunned here, but apparently the kind readers have placed one of my stories at the top of the 20, and another at #5. I find that truly remarkable. I’ve been reading here for a few months and there’s absolutely no doubt in the quality of writing here. NO doubt. I simply wanted to be a part of it.
My stories have been posted on a few ACLU boards, and the response there was very flattering – but this is way beyond that. I’m certain the viewership here, is far greater than I’ve been exposed to before. What’s more, I’m in the pot w/talent far beyond what was being posted there. I simply can’t believe my work is rated this highly.
The timing on this is critical. I’ve just recently shifted from musician to writer. Just finished my first screenplay. I’m a little skittish and uncertain of my ability as one (I’ve got an ego – so I THINK it’s good. But behind every Leo is a bit of insecurity. We over compensate w/arrogance : P). This certainly helps my comfort zone.
I think the word is ‘validation’. And let me tell you – that is ohhhh so sweet!
On my knees with grace to those who took the time to send that validation. I’ll do everything I can to continue to get those fingers frisky – you can be certain. <g>

PS Regarding the rating system: It matters to the writer. Not to be ‘better than the rest’ – but to be considered that GOOD! So please be sure to vote, when a writers story captures you. (Or indulges you, or satiates you, or makes the pearl princess slip back her hood and say hello to the world, eh. Hehehe)
