My tooth hurt... any ideas as to what will make it go away?

If you can't find orajel ....

My Dentist says 3 Ibuprofen.( you could do both orajel & Ibuprofen)

You can also get some ground cloves , make a wet paste & put it on the tooth & surrounding gums.

You can also get soft dental wax at WalMart, to cover the cavity , exclude air, and redude the pain of temperature change, but hot tea or coffee will disolve it. Works better after orajel.


There's a liquid that will work, but I forget the name...

Actually, I was thinking of the commercial product Ambisol, but clove oil is effective. I was thinking in terms of what you might find at the convenience store or someplace.

Toothache

My dentist told me this last week:
a. 2 motrin (ibuprophren)
b. 2 extra strength tyelnol
c. clove oil
d. rinse your mouth with salt water often


What you need to do is call for some antibiotics....the pain should last for 2 days and then get increasingly better...

I HATE TOOTHACHES!!!!!!!!!

you could put some vanilla on your toothe or you can smash a asprin and put directly on the toothe that hurts or you can pack chewing tobacco around the toothe and it draws out the infection.
toothe aches suck thats why I got all my teeth pulled.

putting something cold on it would just make it worse and to be totally honest i dont think orajel works that great. Hell you could get drunk just an idea.

getting them pulled didnt hurt that bad after i got passed the needles but I mouth healing up suck and it was in the winter and let me tell you what cold does not work. I feel alot better now i can eat doritos again. lol
