Too tall to ride the bus?

14-year-old Elisany Silva, who is 6'9" tall, was forced to quit school because she became too big to ride the bus.

She says she want to be a fashion model. She's got the looks.

Wow. And 14 years old? Looks older. Wonder if she'll get much taller. Definitely cute with a modeling figure, but who'll make clothes that fit her?

I went to high school with a girl who was 6' 5". She had all kinds of problems getting dates because she was a foot taller than most of the boys and of course they didn't want to be seen as short next to her.

She was both smart and beautiful but the brunt of many jokes and crap. We dated for a while and were good friends. After I went in the service I didn't hear from her until a few years ago at my 40th high school reunion.

At first i was confused because we were eye to ey and I knew I hadn't grown. After college, she had several operations to have four inches removed from her legs. Two from the thigh and two from below the knee.

I thought it was a drastic thing to do but she reassured me that it was the best thing she had ever done. She ended up married to a guy who is one of the most powerful judges in the state where she lives.

Being overly tall for a woman who doesn't play basketball or wo doesn't like basketball players isn't all roses.Even with the fame and fortune of being a model, can she ever be really happy?

That's the question. Fashion models are normally in a specific height range. The clothes are made to fit that height range. She doesn't fit that height range.
