You of all people should know that justice is blind and unfeeling.
It is better than living without any order but it isn’t without flaws.

For example; when I was a teen (a long time ago), rape was treated differently.
The conventional wisdom said several myths (read lies):

1. Do not resist your attacker.
“Then it was realized” that resistance was found to be very necessary.

2. Rape victims “ask to be raped”.
“Then it was realized” that wasn’t the case.

3. Rape is a sexual crime.
“Then it was realized” that rape is a crime of violence.

“Then it was realized” is merely a euphuism.
This is a short way of saying that many people fought against the status quo until it was changed.

I've never actually heard of "Tenacious D" but if you say he wrote it, I believe it. I've found that it's a pretty common reaction to injustice.

Seems to me the guy who wrote the "Tao Te Ching" in China was of a similar mind set. That was thousands of years ago and if not for a border guard, well...

The problem is there's a lot of men out there who feel like "hey, if that were MY boy, I'd be proud as hell of him." They can't mentally see a woman being punished or worthy of punishment for such behavior.

For boys, the rule is to get laid as fast as you can. Liberation and liberalization of rules for men will not come for several more centuries, by my observation, but one can hope.
