I was toying with an idea and I wondered if

A) It was even allowed

B) If it was allowe would it seem to cliquey

The idea is this promoting other writes at the end of your story.
Like a reccomendation
If you like my story you may also like the following. Of course the best way would be if you put it by category and such.
I for one would love to see this because if I find a writer I really like but I've read all their stories I'd like to find a similar writer to read in the meantime. I just wouldn't want it to become a senseless promotion of "friends" ,

They do that in paperbacks, Des, but...
I'm not sure my list (which includes you... good read on "Reunion" by the way) wouldn't be longer than the story

Destinie I think that's a damned good idea. I have a select but expanding list of favourite authors here at Lit and would love to be able to give them a bit of a plug at the end of a story. I am actually going to mention a few on my profile thanks to this idea.

Pst... if you want to read a good story check out Muffins new one. Breaking Article 134. It's awesome.:D

I actually give a link to one of my other stories at the top of my Lit stories. Soemthing like - 'If you liked this one, then you'll probably like ...'

I'm afraid to say that I don't actually read enough to recommend anyone else's.

I did that for one of my poems. So at least it's allowed.

Earl, did you put in a link or just a mention of a name? If it was a link, how do you do it?

I put in a link. All you need to do is put in something like "You might like From a Boeing 747 (ww.lit...)." Laurel always changes the bracketed url into a link without me even asking.

Although it has been said many times: God Bless Her Little Cotton Socks.

I did it once in one of my poems too. I even managed to merge it rather well with the rest of the "official" links at the bottom of the submission: :D

Sonnet Sluts

I don't think it's too cliquey, and if anyone does, fuck 'em. It's how I found some of my favourite authors, reading recommendations at the end of others' paperbacks...

If you submit using the regular form box, instead of uploading a file, you can simply use html code. It worked for me dozens of times:

- <i>If you liked this story, you'll also enjoy <a href="http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=..."><b>This One</b></a></i>
- If you liked this story, you'll also enjoy This One

This needs to be exactly as it is in the post here?
Which means -
Is that a space between a and href?
The address needs to be in quotes?

The address doesn't have to be in quotes, but there has to be a space between a and href. ;)
