Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've noticed that there are not any toilets or restrooms whatsosever in the star wars and star trek sci-fi film and television franchises.

At no point in time does any character answer the call of nature, or a toilet/urinal/sink is shown.

What gives?

Smile when in space they take a pill, or carry a bag strapped to their leg when wearing a space suite.

I don't remember them in Gone With The Wind, either. Did people not shit in the Civil War?

There's no way an ostomy bag was fitting in 7 of 9's sweet, tight suit.

Today I start the final season of ST:TNG. This is the last of the franchise I have binged watched. Yates poses an excellent question. Kirk never pooped. Janeway never pooped. Archer never pooped. And so far, Piccard hasn't pooped.
