It's definitely a genre. The general consensus is that it's sexiest when the subject is naked, and the toes are up in the air, foot slightly arched. This generally means a shot taken while you are laying in bed. Be aware of the background as you take it. For interest the panties are sometimes dangling from the raised foot.
