This weekend I rented 10 movies for the fun of it all in the genre of Horror/suspence/action.

My ratings will be out of a possible 5 . 5 being great, 1 being weak.

Please feel free to add your comments and critics as well.

The Wathcers

Keanu Reeves, James Spader and Marisa Tomei.

Keanu ignites this action packed, "superbly crafted thriller that zooms along like a sinister video game of hunter and prey!" {Richard Roeper}

After years of pursuing psychotic killers in L.A, FBI agent Joel Cambell {James Spader} wants out. and now his nemesis, serial killer David Allen Griffen {keanu}, has tracked him all the way to Chicago just to torment him. Before each murder, Griffen sends Cambell a photgraph of his intended victim and dares him to find her before he strikes again. Now with every tick of the clock, admidst pulse-pounding action, this stone-cold Killer turns up the heat.

I give it a   rating. For the same reason Roeper gives it a high rating i give it a low one. The action was much to high paced for the story develoment It seemed forced and contrived. Almost a seems it would serve as a better sequal as the characters weren't really well developed nor thier personal plights understood .

Repossessed

Linda Blair, Ned Neatty, and Leslie Nielsen.

Ready for a devil of a good time? Linda Blair will scare you silly when she's REPOSESSED! Blair stars in this uproarious laughfest with Leslie Nielsen, the deadpan comedy hero who provided loop-de-loops in "Airplane!" and rapid fire hilarity in "The Naked Gun!" The fun begins when a grown-up Blair starts spewing curses and pea soup. this is a Job for ex-excorcist Nielsen! So he gears up to battle the spirit world -- and finds he must also outwit a pair of phony TV evangelist (including (Ned Beatty), trying to cash in on the Excorcism biz. Get REPOSSESSED. You won't be able to get the laughs out of your system.

I give this a     's rating. If it wasn't for Linda Blair bringing down the film it would of recieved a perfect 5, thankfully Leslie Nielsen was to pull of a stellar performance as usual and manages to carry this film and Linda out of the trash heap.

Disney's: Tower of Terror

Steve Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunce

Big-screen stars Steve Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunst encounter a host of haunts in this delightfully spooky mystery! Buzzy Crocker {guttenberg} is a hard-luck photojournalist whose unexpected encounter with an old woman leads him to investigate an unexplained decades-old disappearance. It seems that one Halloween night, many, many years ago, five party goers vanished in the elevator of the Hollywood Tower Hotel . . . and ever since, their ghosts have remained trapped inside the dilapitated old building! In an action-filled story that delivers creepy fun for everyone, Buzzy ultimately teams with his niece {dunst} to solve the mystery while managing to save thier lives and capture the biggest story of the year!

    's can't give it 5 after all it is a Disney Film. It does have some nice sequences and a great family flick though nothing to write home about in suspence or mystery.

Stigmata

Patricia Arquette, Gabriel Byrne, and Jonathan Pryce.

A lost soul has just recieved the wounds of Christ . . . and a shocking message that will alter history.

Frankie Page is a bold free-spirit with no cares, no worries and absolutely no faith in God. all that changed when she suddnely begins to suffer the Stigmata -- living wounds of the crucified Christ. Bleeding from those miraculous wounds and speaking in ancient Biblical toungue, frankie comes to the attention of the Vatican's top investigator, Father Kiernan, but when a corrupt church official Cardinal Houseman, discovers that Frankie is actually channelling an extraordinary and earth shattering message that could destroy the Church, he's convinced that she -- and the force possessing her -- must be silenced. Determined to stop this deadly conspiracy, Kiernan risks his life to save Frankie and the message that will rock not only the Romana Catholic Church but the destiny of the mankind forever.

     's, yes a perfect score. No not cause of it's theology or biblical correctness but because of an awesome plot, story line and timing. It had some very accurate to the Roman Catholic Church and other organized religion represntations as well. An awesome movie.

I loved that movie. It's one of the few I've actually watched more than once. (it didn't hurt the Gabriel Byrne is so good looking) Great storyline I to would give it a 5.

Yes, but have you seen Brainsmasher: A Love Story?

I hear that DCL was set to be featured as Masked WE ARE NOT NINJAS! Ninja #4 before he met with the strange fate of getting a pseudo-wife followed by a quickie pseudo-divorce.
