"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."
--Norman Thomas, six-time Socialist Party presidential candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU.

Shouldn't you be on your way to church?

this is Heathen's Day on the Board. We need you to give us a rest and go bother the lord.

Been there to the 7:30-9 service already. I am not one of the heathens who sleeps in and goes to the 11 service to look good infront of all th important people.

You are too cool to fool.

But wouldn't a good Christian go to both services?

Its hard enough to listen to the lineral antibible pastor drone on in his pop pyshcology christianity as it is. But he will soon be gone :). Then I won't mind the pastor taking over at least uses the bible.

It depends on the volume of atendants to the services. Sagemont Church in Houston, for example, has several services due to the sheer numbers.

The above is Sagemont's website--they have 3 Sunday morning services and the auditorium is HUGE.

Incidentally, this is the church that Andrea Yates was involved with in her homeschooling social group. (They have the biggest exclusive group in the Houston metroplex.)

Once upon a time, I visited the Unity Church of Houston. They had ushers seating people, brought in extra chairs, and for the people who could not get inside, there were stone benches filling the garden outside and speakers. Big difference from my own church experiences.
