today is v-jayjay day!

imagine my surprise when i looked at the calendar and noticed that today is a national vagina day. i mean, it makes sense, vaginas are pretty popular and kind of magical and all so they should have a national holiday. what i don't get though is that my calendar says this is the 75th anniversary of v-jayjay day and i'm almost certain that vaginas have been around longer than 75 years. maybe it's a typo.

I agree 110%. An re-reading Codename Downfall by Thomas Allen & Norman Polmar. I believe it gives a very accurate description of all sides of the issues ending the swat in the Pacific, including the saving of American & Japanese lives. Wish more folks would read books like this.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try & locate tat book. Too bad more people aren’t interested in reading about such events. They may talk differently if they had.
