War Emblem make history and become the first Triple Crown winner in 24 years, or will he come up short?

War Emblem has the heart, if his fetlocks hold out. And Lord knows I'd love to see a $10,000 colt that resold for $900,000 just this Feb. take the crown. But you can't discount Magic Weisner.
With a 1 1/2 mile of race, the extra length could be War Emblem's undoing. Magic would have won the Preakness with 5 more lengths, he was coming on that strong. And it was his jockey's first time up on him. That could be a factor. He's not a colt used to alot of handlers, and getting to know his jockey may be all he needs.
I'll be listening to the race, hoping those 2 finish 1 and 2. They are my picks for the top money.
I haven't had time to look closely at the rest of the field. and when it's all said and done....horse racing isn't an exact science.

Yes, War Emblem will win it. War Emblem is a very strong horse in a much weaker field than usual. Not trying to disrespect War Emblem but that is all IMHO.

First time in over 25 years............Triple Crown winner. Good Luck to War Emblem.
