Peter Strzok Is A Fucking Badass. Let's Liveblog His All-Day Testimony!

FBI agent Peter Strzok, who most people know as the FBI agent who committed the sin of telling his girlfriend Lisa Page that he has opinions sometimes on politics, including opinions unfavorable to our Dearest Leader Donald Trump (and Bernie Sanders and Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder and Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton), will be testifying this morning at 10 AM before a joint hearing of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees. Across the pond, Donald Trump apparently has time between the various tasks Vladimir Putin gave him to do at the NATO summit to be VERY EXCITED about Strzok's testimony:

Oh yes, the ex "FBI LAYER" Lisa Page! More on her later, because she was indeed supposed to testify yesterday, but the House Republicans are dicking her around, just to be dicks.

But back to Strzok! If you watch Fox News, you are probably under the impression that he is the Deep State embodied, that he was the head of a secret cabal at the FBI, a division created just to commit sins against and derail the presidential ambitions of Donald J. Trump, through the dastardly use of text messages. Fox News, the president, and his lesser minions on the internet have been working their asses off to paint Strzok like this. It's important to realize why that is, and why House Republicans insist upon putting Strzok on TV today for a show trial, despite how they already talked to him behind closed doors for over 10 hours last week. (Today's hearing could go longer than that.)

And a cast of Characters from Gowdey to Gomert and wingnuts in between!

(CliffNotes Edition)

Strzok kicked their whinny little asses, and his' girlfriend is up tomorrow!

It is uncertain if Nancy was who sent a case of Anal Lube to the Rethuglican cloakroom. :)

I watched much of it, including Gowdy smug diatribe before he was rebutted after almost not getting that opportunity and think that Strzok was dead on.

However I also talk and communicate with others, a few who are serious AlwaysTrumpers and I wonder what the fuck they are spewing and if they saw the same testimony I did because they came away with a totally different take on the whole mess.

There is a serious dichotomy in this country lately and I don't see it getting better any time soon.

My 2 cents.

]Fox News pundit confesses Republicans ‘are in a boatload of trouble’ if they lose the Ohio special election

Trump has been losing support among suburban women, according to the Washington Post.

“The typical caveat is not to read it too much into elections, but this one, given the proximity to the general election, given that the history of this district, which as a reporter just mentioned had not been won by a Democrat in decades,” Bevan continued. “And given President Trump’s appearance as they are over the weekend and putting his clout on the line as sort of a general election setting makes it that much more important.”

He went on to predict a major problem for the GOP if Republican Troy Balderson loses on Tuesday. Arguably, however, the GOP is already in trouble for getting those close to losing a seat that has been Republican for three decades.

“I think of Republicans lose this seat it will confirm that they are in a boatload of trouble come November and they should batten down the hatches because they will probably signal that a democratic wave is coming if not already there,” said Bevan.

Blue Wave? :D

U.S. Congressional Committee Approves Cannabis Bill, But Not Without Drama

The House Judiciary Committee approved the Medical Cannabis Research Act of 2018 on Thursday despite objections that the measure unfairly discriminates against those with criminal records. If passed, House Resolution 5634 would require the attorney general to ensure that an adequate and uninterrupted supply of research-grade cannabis is available. The act also provides safe harbor protections for institutions participating in cannabis research.

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, the sponsor of the legislation, said in a release that he was pleased with the committee’s approval of the bill.

“I am glad that the Judiciary Committee has reported the Medical Cannabis Research Act favorably, sending it to the House for a vote,” Gaetz said. “For too long, Congress has faced a dilemma with cannabis-related legislation: we cannot reform cannabis law without researching its safety, its efficacy, and its medical uses — but we cannot perform this critical research without first reforming cannabis law. The Medical Cannabis Research Act helps break that logjam, allowing researchers to study medical cannabis without fear of legal jeopardy.”

“This vote will help unlock American innovation and discovery, and help researchers bring the cures of the future a little closer to reality,” Gaetz said.

So it's about Science then? And Rethuglicunts voted for it?
