There's nothing keeping you here. Go south, young man.

Strap a snowblower to the top of your car and drive south. You can stop when someone says, "What the fuck is that?"

BTW, your first post shouldn't be whiny. It sets the stage.

LOL You're right. I think I'm more mad at myself for leaving my jacket at work friday night.
I think people would look at my car and ask "WTF is that" long before the snowblower got a second glance.

I've been looking around and can't find anything on moonshine! I'll look again when I go to that store. I did find a new distillery that sells something called applejack. That sounds sort of yummy. I think I just like trying new stuff.

37 winters and you only have one jacket?

Damn, they are local to you. Could be something like Yukon Jack. I'm sure it has it's own taste.

I had to retire my favorite one and the rest are for below freezing. Plus I'm holding onto the belief that it wasn't sleet falling in Muldoon this afternoon and I don't have to dress warmer than a t-shirt.
Yes, I'm stupid and stubborn this way.

Not your fault. 1976 was the year that thing's got warmer. It was a huge jump.

That made me chuckle.

I have fall, winter, sub zero winter, spring, rain, wind, snow machine, and fishing appropriate jackets.

Dear Alaskans,

Thank you for the salmon patties I am having for dinner tonight. I would also like to thank Old Bay and Costco for making this happen.

Love always,
Pete

Mrs t will kick your ass for using Johnny Savage's Old Bay on your Costco (Trident) salmon patties.

And I might as well toss out a thanks to Canada for the blue berries I am having to top it all off.

I'm glad when stupid ideas work. I needed scissors to open the pepperoni package for the cardboard pizza. So then I'm needing to cut up my green onions for my salmon patties and dreading to have to wash one more thing so instead of a cutting board I used those scissors to cut my green onions. Worked perfectly and didn't have to wash an extra knife or cutting board.

I always use scissors for green onions.

It smashes the ends a bit but makes the job quick and easy.
