Used Yahoo and managed to hear her sing 'I will always love you'
It was better than Dolly or Whitney. Much better.
K is lucky to have such a talented wife.

It was good to hear her voice too, very sexy, a beautiful American accent.
Yahoo voice only lasted long enough to hear Gracie and then her daughter sing.
She takes after her mum, but with a quieter voice
Isn't the internet amazing![]()

graceanne said:Jen, I agree about everyone having a talent. But I don't necessarily think that talents are always like music, art, or things like that. Sometimes a person's talent is for helping people. Other times it's for organizing things. Just because their talents aren't as obvious as someone who has something tangible to show, (like a painting) doesn't mean that it's not as important, ya know?
curiousjen said:There are some so talented people here on the boards.
It does not surprise me that gracie is one of them
Actually, I was brought up to think that everyone has a talent, even if they haven't found it yet, and with all the amazing photography and art and stories and all the other creative thingimijigs that are knocking about, I am finding that my mothers wisdom is indeed correct.
curiousjen said:Oh I absolutely agree with you, and I'm sorry I might have given you the wrong impression of what I thought. Of course not all people are talented in the arts (although many more people are than they give themselves credit for, I've noticed) and there are indeed millions of other talents. Owen is not very artsy- he can't paint or draw or sing but he is a wonderful listener, for example and very creative in the problem solving department which saves our bacon on many an occasion. He sometimes gets down about not being as obviously "creative" as others in our circle of friends, but I am helping him to see that his talents are just as valid, and maybe even more important because they are so understated, if you see what I mean![]()

I know its here somewhere but can't remember what its is or where Il eft it.
*sigh*
Netzach said:Hey, how'd I miss this thread. Cool. I didn't even know you were musical, gracie.
Playing an instrument is totally beyond my brain, that's very neat.
Talent is important, but let's not forget, 10% inspiration 90% perspiration. I think natural inclination gets us excited about our art form or thing we are good at and makes us want to do it a lot. Doing it a lot is a big part of it, too.
So...how do the rest of us hear?shy slave said:Gracie sing.
